Needs to be CLOSED. Horrible property. Buildings are falling apart. This is NOT a hotel; it’s barely a motel. The check-in area smells like a musty, urine soaked basement even though it’s above ground. The stench of chemically pinesol stayed in my clothes for hours after leaving. I booked 2 months in advance, 2 rooms and he gave us the “last rooms available” - the non-smoking rooms were surrounded by smokers - cigarettes and weed. We walked into the single-story ground floor outside door (which is a MOTEL) room and had to hold our breath. It stunk, was dark and stains on sheets. So I checked the other room in the “hotel” spot, up a very scary, dirty hallway, the entire building stinking of mold, weed - can tell there is no insulation under floors or in the walls - had to walk up and down stairs, narrow hallways, like the building was never meant to be a hotel. Finally open our room and at face value, it looks okay. Not as powerful of a pinesol smell but then we started checking things. The particle board headboard was falling off, chipped drywall, patched paint, stained bedspread and sheets, and the best - a ton of eggs and dead bed bugs on the bottom bed protector. Yeah - what’s being protected? We pretty much ran out of there. The front desk guy was like “we’ve never had bed bugs” yeah - that’s what they say. When I show him the picture, he’s like “what room? Where? That’s not us” Umm - yeah, it is. Let’s go look at it. He offered to get the maintenance guy to “clean it up”. How does a hotel clerk not know that you can’t “clean up” bed bugs? How can CHOICE hotels not condemn this place? It must not be a place for actually sleeping then.

Booked this hotel on Friday since we were in the area for a concert on Saturday. Definitely outdated and needs a refresh, but probably won't happen. The lobby for check-in smelled like pee. The room had spiderwebs by the window and yes, we killed the spider upon entering the room. The smoke alarm was basically hanging off the wall and there was cigarette ash on the side table in this non-smoking room, which we did call to inform the office about this. The one chair inside had stains on it and the toilet seat had sticky stuff on it, which we cleaned ourselves. The sink in the bathroom wasn't fully connected to the wall. The bed was comfy though. Also, there were like 15 feral cats around the hotel and some guy, presumably a worker, was feeding them. Finally, there sign to locate them was barely visible from the road since there were trees/bushes blocking part of it.

While the clerk repeatedly told us at check in he wanted us to be happy with our stay it was far from it. First we were overcharged, which they tried to deny and even after admitting they did said there was nothing they could do. The clerk was very rude. He walked away while I was talking to the owner on HIS phone and I had to shout to get him to come back. He acted like he wanted nothing to do with me when I came to him with the problem of the overcharge. He only reluctantly called his boss and in the end nothing was resolved. The room though clean looking had issues too. The door looked like it had been broken in with gouges all along the sides. The bedding had cigarette burn holes in it. There were no lamps in the room. The outlet was broken. There were holes where the buttons should be on the AC. I honestly don’t think I’ve EVER stayed at a worse place.

This place was a quick stop for a 1 night stay for having a bed and bathroom for our mid point stop. We purchased a NON SMOKING ROOM. It was disgusting, cigarette burns in both blankets on both beds, the top decor sheet/blanket has disgusting stains all over one of them. They only gave you 2 VERY THIN SOFT PILLOWS on EACH BED!!! They provide you with 2 bath mats, 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth for a room with 4 people, 2 full beds! They had 1 roll of toilet paper on the holder that literally had 8 sheets of toilet paper and 1 full roll on the back of the toilet. All towels have black and brown stains all over them!

The mini fridge was in a cabinet with a bureau attached and had sticky stains all through the cabinet so you couldn't put your stuff in it. The beds were pretty uncomfortable, had back pain waking up throughout the night. The shower water pressure was absolutely horrible also and hot water was WAY WAY WAY TOO HOT! Thank God I made sure to check it before my children tried it. If you can't be around much dust THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU!! They don't dust AT ALL!

I went to checkout this morning at 7am and the owner came out, I told him all about everything and he literally DIDN'T CARE! He said " OH WELL SOME PEOPLE DO THAT" No joke this is what he said and he said goodbye! You couldn't really understand him at all either and with the plexi glass they have across the counter makes it extremely hard to hear him to try to understand him.

My family and I WON'T EVER STAY HERE AGAIN! The only ok thing about this place was the location...

I stayed at this location on 5/14/23 and to be honest, I'm pretty mystified by some of the poor reviews of the property. I'll start off by saying that Philip checked me in on Sunday night and checked me back out on Monday morning. You'd be hard pressed to find a friendlier, more welcome guy anyplace. He started everything off the right way for me! After completing the check-in, I went to my room, kind of around the side of the property (room 154 if I remember correctly) and once inside, I was very surprised how nice the room was! Everything has been remodeled pretty recently. The paint looked fresh, the furniture and fixtures in the room were all bright and clean looking and the bed was AMAZING. If a previous guest hadn't at some point gouged one of the walls with the back of a chair, I would have thought I might be the first one to be housed there. I almost never get a good night of sleep anyplace other than home, but that was NOT an issue here! The bed was perfect, the climate control in the room was perfect and privacy was perfect. I was traveling with my dog for a job the next day in the area and the big grass field along the side of the property was a great spot to walk him. The property could use a little TLC on the exterior maybe, but the overall comfort and conditions were awesome for the price paid. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book another room at this location next time I'm working...
