Days Inn by Wyndham Newport — Hotel in Newport

In a pinch, my wife and I attempted to get a room here we inspected the room upon arrival and found both of the beds were infested with bedbugs showed proof and pictures to the manager on duty. Two days later my money has still not been refunded. It’s worth mentioning that I’m a certified pest control technician Karen this morning, who is exceptionally rude to both my wife, and I said that she knows exactly what to look for and has rented that same room to several other occupant since if you have stayed in this hotel first of all, I would check every bit of luggage you have because there are active bedbugs And the manager apparently sees it fit to rent to the populist and knowingly. It is also worth mentioning that we were only on this property for about 15 minutes and they are refusing to refund the money for the room Beware and avoid this establishment at all costs, we will be contacting the corporate office upon the completion of this review

Update: we were contacted by the manager Karen. Who informed my wife that regardless of the fact I have 15 years experience in said pest control field. That she knows what to look for and there are no bed bugs. Stay at this dump, with the garbage that runs it at your discretion. I cannot stress this fact enough we were on this property for all of 10 minutes long enough to get the keys to the room. My stay was well needed I spent my time getting to know self, MY initial greeting was wonderful but after I paid the fee of 600 plus dollars to stay from the 21 of June until the 31 the hospitality seemed to dissappear. My heart goes out for these two young ladies whom I feel really wanted to do what was right but might have been afraid of their boss or bosses. The manager last night when she first laid eyes on me seemed to project negative vibes and would not smile period I wish her goodness I really do. I don't know what she has been through. Anyway it was said that they felt threatened by me and I had to leave material things I wish I could have just donated to good well but by it being so dark and so late and the police was there to do their job I also had called the Newport police twice because the Hotel manager made me feel a little uneasy Anyway I made it to my Dad's house a little after 11pm. I had noticed my card was being changed from that establishment but I had not made those changes or charges and before police came they charges had vanished can you say cyber theif or Scamming. I don't want to falsely accuse anyone but had anyone seen all what I had to leave beside and the hour they put me out once I confronted them about this charges then I believe you could inner stand better why they had me removed. Where do I start? At first they put me in a smoking room. I couldn’t even step through the doorway. Who even allows smoking in hotels anymore? After what felt like forever, I was assigned to a non-smoking room. I was so exhausted I needed to sleep more than anything. I walk in the room and it’s like a flashback to the late 80s/or even one of the hotels we would consider rundown in the early 90s. As a matter fact, last time I stayed in a hotel that looked like this, it was when my mom was alive and I was a teenager… We were on our way to my uncle Bo’s funeral. The room was infested with spiders, the carpet had been melted at one time with the iron. The air conditioner barely worked, but the refrigerator did not work at all. There was no shower curtain. The towels, you could tell the towels have just been haphazardly thrown in the bathroom at random times. Did I tell you that the Toilet, barely flushed? When I first arrived, it was raining and the employee that was getting off of work was blocking the entire driveway under the overhang, even though there should’ve been room for more than one vehicle. The sun has bleached and deteriorated the curtains so bad that there are holes in them. There are also bleach, stains and cigarette burns on the duvets Check out my pictures...
