The Alderwood B&B couldn't be a more peaceful, inviting, and enjoyable place to stay. After searching online for the right spot, I contacted Myra about a three night stay with my boyfriend. From the start she was kind and accommodating, and I booked our nights with ease. Upon arrival, the beautiful wood home was tucked away into a quaint neighborhood that is very close to Boston, as well as the countryside. We were greeted warmly by both Myra and her husband Richard, who were very helpful, and aided us in getting directions to the concert we were attending that night. When we returned, our room was very serene, and we slept great night after night on the comfortable bed. Each morning held a different healthy homemade breakfasts, that was both delicious and hearty. We were able to wait hours before feeling hungry for lunch. Alongside our meals were wonderful conversations with our hosts, and my boyfriend and I felt at ease talking with them. By the end of our stay, we were wishing we could stay longer, and will be sure to return when our travels lead us...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I stayed at Alderwood B&B for two nights. Myra and Richard were absolutely lovely hosts. They made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. The room was very comfy and quiet, so we slept quite well. We were treated to very filling and tasty breakfasts each morning (pancakes, sausage, oatmeal, fresh fruit), and we enjoyed our conversations with Myra and Richard. ||||Getting into Boston for the day was very easy. It is about a ten minute walk into Newton Town Center (though Myra did offer us a ride into town), and from there we caught the train that goes directly into the city. I don't remember exactly how long the train ride was, maybe half an hour? We got off right in Boston Common and had all of the tourist attractions waiting right there for us. It was very convenient and easy. ||||Overall, I would highly recommend staying here if you come to visit Boston. It provides a nice quiet and reasonably priced alternative to staying in the city. We will definitely stay again if we are ever back up in the area. ||||Thank you Myra...
