Easy to get to, nice view of mountains and lake, nicely designed cabins, great service, dog friendly, kid friendly, quiet - we stayed for a week in one of their smaller cabins (#53) with our dog and 1 year old. Overall very happy with the experience. Curtains do not block all night which can make naptime with a young toddler interesting. Kitchen has a full size fridge with a freezer (with ice tray), mini kurig, blender, toaster, small sink, cabinet space, dishes and silverware, Tupperware and pitcher, drying rack, dish soap and rag, and granite counteracts. We ended up bringing our airfryer for more options. This enabled us to eat in for most meals (we could have eaten in more if wanted). Commercial type carpet thought out living area. Gas fireplace with stone surround was lovely and worked well...sadly we know that because they had turned it on before we checked in so inside the cabin was over 80 degrees (F) during one of the hottest weekends on record for the month. We immediately turned it off but it took hours for the wall AC unit to bring down the temp to 74, with the ceiling fan running. Multiple grills throughout the area available for use, multiple firepits throughout available for use, pretty landscaping between the main group of cabins, and a playground for the kids. 2 parking spots per cabin plus overflow parking. In our cabin was 2 very comfortable queen beds (4 pillows each), a couch, coffee table small table with 4 chairs, a shallower 3 drawer dresser, nice sized closet, tv, and full bath (with tub). There was a deck on the side farthest from the parking with 2 chairs and side table and the front porch had a bench and the hot tub. Hot tub worked well when we were able to use it on one of the cooler evenings. Cabin was well insulated enough we didn't hear the other guests when doors and windows were shut. Monster truck show one day was only barely audible. Everything was clean when we arrived and well labeled. Check in was easy and they stayed in touch via text to make sure all was well (without being a bother). The ice tray was broken when we arrived and we easily got a replacement the same day. Excellent option for families no matter what...
Read moreMy husband and I reserved the room in this hotel through Priceline website because the pictures advertising the place were so inviting, it appeared like a perfect place for a getaway, we thought we would get a small cabin with the hot tub as shown on the website. In fact, when we arrived, we were given an adjacent room of the family house (#45R), which was designed for one party to share. We had people next door (#45L) who were using the hot tub in the alley behind houses, parting and smoking despite no smoking policy so we could not even use our hot tub because it was way to close to them, we had no privacy. When we went to the office and tried to switch to another room or separate cabin we were told that there were no vacancies, but we saw one house available on the website for a much higher price. We tried contacting Priceline to get our refund so we could get a place somewhere else, but were told that we needed to wait for the property management to respond to move forward with the cancelation or room swapping. The room had dust on the nightstands and crumbs on the bed frame, which made us wonder if the rooms are being cleaned and disinfected properly especially during these times. The matress was old and completely wasted so we did not get any sleep. The main disappointment was that the room/cabin ended up not being as advertised and hot tubs being so close to each other, management could at least put some separation between rooms/parties. We ended up paying $266 for a an adjacent room with no privacy and...
Read moreThey are still trying to charge my card extra money a month after we had stayed there on January 10th.The total price for the 3 nights we stayed was close to $400 and wanted to stay for a extra night but being it was a Friday the price went up to $350 for just 1 night. After leaving they had charged my credit card another $150. And they just charged me again on February 7th for another $100. The place is a decent place to stay but not for price they charge. Some of the cabins are really nice but the regular duplex cabins are just like a hotel room but overpriced you be better going to the comfort inn in cumberland or Grantsville for half the price and even have access to a pool and hot tub and not have to pay a extra 100 bucks just to have a hot tub access. The front desk people are very nice and polite but this place is a rip off!! I wouldn't trust giving them any bank or credit card information since they just charge what they want to and don't give you any explanations as to why. They also make you wash any dishes you use. Which I found to be very unsanitary being they are trusting other individuals to clean dishes especially during this pandemic. Im sorry that seems like a dirty thing to have people do when they are already paying so much to stay there in the first place where the housekeeping should take care of all that. Along with having to take your own trash out as well? Again when your paying so much for just a one night stay all that stuff should be taken care of by the...
