This hotel is decent for an overnight stay if you aren't expecting any frills or comforts. The bed is comfortable. The water pressure is okay. The water gets almost hot. What I had a problem with was the incompetent staff. Two different staff members did not live up to my expectations of how an employee should take pride in their work, or at least act like they care when dealing with the general public. I called ahead to ask if they had laundry services. I was told that they did and that they also would have plenty of change at the front desk from the coin operated machines. I explained that this was the main reason that I was choosing them over some of the other hotels in town. Upon check-in, I was given directions to the laundry room by the front desk attendant. He pointed that it was through the indoor pool area (which is not ideal---very slippery). It actually was in a room that I'm sure must have been used as a sauna because there was no air ventilation. It was so hot! Come to find out that didn't matter as the one and only washing machine was out of order!!! I could have understood if it had just broken but there was standing water in the machine with mold growing in it. I went back to the front desk and the gentleman said that he didn't know it was broken and said "maybe you could walk down to the Quality Inn and use theirs. They might let you." Are you kidding me? He actually suggested that I schlep my laundry over a quarter of a mile down the street at night. I should have just asked for a refund right then and there and stayed at the Quality Inn because it only got worse when I went to my room!!! The security latch on my room door was broken. The water never got hot. The "non-smoking" room was a joke. The entire hotel smelled like an ashtray. The towels are thin and tiny and I found a pubic hair on the "clean" wash cloth. The room description boasted a "lounge chair" but all there that was in the room next to the bed was a giant open space. Had my husband not been utterly exhausted we would have left. I only booked this hotel because I am a Wyndham Rewards member. I noticed they had placemats on the front desk and in the room for a promotion that ended two months ago (Stay 2 nights, get $100) so I asked the lady at checkout who looked to be the manager if they had extended the promotion. Her exact words were "oh I have no idea about that rewards program." What kind of place is this? She also didn't ask about my stay, if I was happy, and my late check-out request was ignored. I got the pleasure of the same lady banging on my door to ask if I was leaving. I will never stay here again and I don't recommend it in any way. I only give it 2 stars because I didn't get bitten by bedbugs and they had fresh fruit...
Read moreI stayed here for two weeks. I mean, the hotel was fine and staff friendly. The one thing that confuses me was the fact that even though I stayed for two full weeks, my door was never cracked by house keeping, not even to empty a trash can. I am not a slob so it wasn’t that big of deal. However, if you think about a different guest paying for that room everyday for two weeks, they would go in there every time they check out and completely reset the room. I paid the same price every day for an entire two weeks, and it just baffles me why no one came in for one second and did anything. I have been in other super eight hotels and housekeeping came in every single day, remade the bed, emptied everything, wiped everything down. I did not need any of that, but again, it did seem odd that because you stay there for several days, they must have policy of not going in at all to...
Read moreOverall our stay was pleasant. We stayed two nights. The room was pretty clean minus coffee or something on the ac unit and the maid service never visited our room so I had to get clean towels from the front desk. After our first night our rooms keys were deactivated so I had to get those reactivated so we could get back into our room Saturday afternoon. The breakfast was honey buns, fruit and coffee even though online it says continental breakfast but I get it covid and all so that was no biggie just a heads up to future guests. Come prepared food wise. The front desk staff was very pleasant and the pool area was very clean. The pool and hot tube both were clear and clean which was nice just remember to grab pools towels from the front desk before entering the pool. Will stay here next time I'm in town...
