Ever get the feeling your not wanted.....6 out 10 people had a careless demeanor , it was as though they could care less if we were their. Few employees were excited to be their and very few said hello or initiated any sorta conversation. The golf cart shuttles are not completely free....if you use the luggage cart it's another ten dollars. We really liked the facility and location....but gosh the "welcome" feeling was not their.....our favorite part was the Jet Ski Instructor.....Noble.....he's an older Vietnam vet with excellent customer service skills.....we think every employee should have to spend the day with Noble and learn customer service skills......so thank you to Noble for giving us a fresh smile, answers to our questions, and his service to this country...the food was good....but again...the service not so much.....and the ice cream bar served huge ice cream cones with delicious soft serve ice cream....but again....the young ladies their were less than welcoming.....not mean or rude at all.....just not welcoming...not cheerful...and not wanting to be their it seemed. And I don't blame the young girls....I blame the people above them that have failed them by not training them in good customer service skills. So we wanna reiterate....it wasn't a total bomb, and their were some smiley faces.....but very few.... unfortunately we would probably stay in the RV park in town w the pool and smiling faces next time

Absolutely Disappointing!! Zero amenities. No lake access, unless you want to wait in a 1 1/2 hr line with all of the boat rental customers to be brought down to the marina in a golf cart. The RV park itself is a weird, plastic, exposed lot atop a tall retaining wall above the upper marina parking lot. The wind exposure is almost unbearable, our RV was getting blown all over. There are NO tables, no fire pits or living plants at any sites. There is turf, which is nice. But no shade. NO bathrooms, NO laundry, there’s not even an office! Just a 10 ft shipping container where a host will check you in, but is never around. The hook ups are badly designed. The sewage is at the very back corner of the long narrow space. We had to use three hoses to hook up. And we had to park way over to one side, almost on top of the turf, in order to open our slides and not hit the electrical box. It’s a 25 minute drive to town for any amenities, including beach access. That on top of the obscenely high nightly rate for a zero-amenity campsite. I would pay $40/day just for the close proximity to Antelope Canyon and the wonderful Antelope Point Marina shops, restaurants and boat rentals. But $70/day is absolutely ridiculous until they install basic amenities like tables, laundry and bathrooms.

BEWARE We just had a real bad argument with a manager because of a tent placed near our trailer, it turns out we broke no tent rule that we had no chance to be aware of. We were so sorry about it but that didn’t help to calm down the manager, she aggressively exploded with arguments, my pregnant wife is crying. We stayed only one night and were leaving anyway, why being so aggressive? It turns out nothing on the website states tents are not allowed, the rules that you agree upon booking do not mention anything about tents. This is not cool, we’ve been traveling throughout the country a lot and this is the first time we face such an arrogance, and really have done nothing wrong. Management of this place is bad, specifically the manager that comes in the morning (the night shift manager was good and understanding) I hope someone from the top management reads this It MUST be clear of a no tent rule, this is a CAMPGROUND and you’re in hospitality business, you need to be HOSPITABLE, and really you cannot enforce rules that are NOT POSTED anywhere, I see even the name on the Google maps is mistyped, “camgound” haha The parking spot itself and the campground overall is looking brand new, no question about it, we’ve been many places and this one looks really nice.

It's still really, really, new. The good? -great views -great location. (however, please note that this campground is inside a designated National Park. If you don't have a National Park Pass, you WILL be charged $30 just to get into the area. Maybe this could/should be included (no extra cost) with the reservation?) -mostly level concrete pads -astro-turf (not grass - which could be a 'negative' if you have dogs that need a grassy area to "go do their business". Central "dog/pet area" is too inconvenient. "2 stars" - currently - only because of what's missing: -no picnic table. Simple fix. -no grill. Simple fix. (there is a 'common' grill area directly behind site 44...but, it's tucked behind that site so you have to go through that site to use it). -no fire ring -no visible site markers. There are very faint numbers on each pedestal, but they're really hard to read. Simple fix. -no trees. -no laundry. -no building! Even the check-in is a converted 20' marine container. -no showers / bathroom -the sewer hookup is at the very back. A bit inconvenient. It should have been located closer to the water connection. With the layout of the campground, it will be difficult to add a building for laundry, showers or a common gathering spot, but it seems necessary....to me, anyway. These sites are a bit closer together than I prefer. Slots in a curve give you a bit more elbow room, but they're still "cozy"! Cost? Too high for what it is currently. Maybe...
