Sea View Inn — Hotel in Palm Bay

My family and I absolutely loved this place. The location is perfect for a private getaway with a long stretch of beach without a ton of people crowding it. Rooms 1-3 are right next to the beach with gorgeous views of the beach and sunrises. Room 3 is huge with two bedrooms and a massive kitchen. The living room is also big with a wall of windows facing the beach. The curtains are black-out style and block out a significant amount of sunlight should you choose to shut them all. The beds were not the most comfortable in my opinion, but I am a bit spoiled/biased having used memory foam toppers at home. There is also just one bathroom to share amongst everyone, but the view and proximity to the beach offset the minor inconvenience. The facility is very intimate in feeling, and there are plenty of shared outdoor lounge chairs and tables for guests to use right outside of rooms 1-3. The other rooms are just a tad farther away from the beach but not by much. The service was also great and the main office very accessible (right around the corner from the rooms). There is a german restaurant directly across the street that has exquisite food, and there is a grocery store just down the road for your DIY meals. I could go on and on about other positive features and observations, but the gist is that Sea View Inn is a very special place and deserves high praise all around. Really, there aren’t enough stars to rate this little piece of Paradise. The minute you pull into this magical place you find a sense of peace and serenity and you know you are welcome here. There is a healing spirit here. Our room was spotless with all the amenities you need, and a property manager who makes you feel you’re home. Ocean surrounding you,with a quaint and comfortable deck where you can sit and watch the ocean while you drink your coffee. At night, beautiful small red lights glow around the deck so as not to disturb the turtles who visit below on their beach sanctuary. And the miracles begin on the beach…. we saw 4 mama turtles along the beach, coming and going, but the miracle for us came late in the night as we watched a mama turtle laying her eggs and building her nest. We saw this by the light of the moon. We watched for 2 hours and then she was ready to return to her ocean covered with sand. I know I’ve used a lot of words, but none can describe the joy of our visit or the magic of the Inn. See it for yourself for one of the most beautiful experiences of your life. Quiet and peaceful, wonderful beach for nature lovers! Adjacent to a preserve there are no tall buildings in sight, just lots of sand, grasses and shrubs. Seeing the sea turtle tracks is amazing. My room (#5) was comfortable, spacious, clean and attractively decorated. I love the shower floor made with natural stones. The sound of the room air conditioner was a bit loud for me, but I am sensitive to noise so probably not a problem for others. Location is quiet but is close enough (7 min) to restaurants, take out pizza, and a Publix a half mile away. Kitchen is well stocked and I enjoyed the nice plates and glassware. The landscaping with flowers was pretty. The deck overlooking the beach with outdoor shower for rinsing off the feet made beach walks easy. I wished there was more shade on the deck for sitting, and overhead cover to keep the cushions dry from a rain. Diana is a pleasure to communicate with and...
