Charm Motel & Suites — Hotel in Palo Cedro

Room was small but clean. Dated decor. A/C out of our reach (shorter folks, here). Mini fridge and microwave included. Step in shower (no tub). Quiet area. Wi-fi pretty strong. Light outside bathroom window was bothersome, so we had to close the door to the bathroom. The pillows were thin and somewhat insubstantial. The bed was on the firmer side. There was a barrier under the bed that was very loud if you hit it with your foot which anyone would be prone to do due to placement. Deadbolt didn’t line up properly. I don't like motel,No one in lobby, I wait 20 minutes for someoneto cometo lobby ? The room not clean and smells not good i use face mask to sleep there's a lot bedbug hurting my skin, the room-service Knock door at 8am so bad when call lobby the Nancy who answered are very rude and talk with no respect at all... The price high as motel 2 star,they don't have signs of (( do not disturb)) the music loads from rv in motel parking Not recommend this motel at all I wish I can give zero star .. the 1 star is too much for this motel , if you looking for relaxing and quiet time...

We had a 2 queen room. The room had been recently renovated, but it was dirty! The floors were sticky. The doors were visibly dirty. There was a gummy bear underneath one of the beds, a crumpled paper on the floor next to the trash, and hair in the bathroom.

Also, there was no breakfast offered despite the website and the binder in the room mentioning free breakfast. This was a reason why we chose this place!

I don't know what other motel nearby to recommend. I didn't expect anything fancy, but I expected a clean room with breakfast.

I cannot recommend Charm...
