In town for the night. One reason we stopped in Burney was so we could bowl. It was league night (but it didn't start for over an hour) so they wouldn't let us bowl. They said they had to oil the lanes...which they didn't start doing for an hour. The three of us could easily have rolled a game in time. Grrr. Sat in the bar and drank and ate instead. Bartender was great! Cold beers. Decent food. Bathroom smelled sooooo bad! The front entrance/lobby is a mess. A couples hours of work and they could clean it up and make it much more appealing. The regular crowd made for very interesting people watching. Did I mention how awful the bathroom was? Had I gone to the bathroom before we ate I might not have ordered food.
BUT mad props to our bartender. She was the best part...
Read moreWent here 2 days in a row, breakfast in Friday and pizza on Saturday. First of all, there is only 1 person taking orders and preparing food orders. This resulted in a very long wait time, both days for our food. Breakfast Friday took almost an hour, just for biscuits and gravy, and salad, when there appeared to be only a few other people in the place and their food was done at least 45 min b4 we got our food. Good biscuit and gravy, salad good size, but served with plastic fork and paper plate. Saturday pizza wait was about the time they told us it would be done, approx 35-40. I did notice that all of the crew members that work there partake in helping out in any area that they are needed.
