This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stepped foot in. I opened the door to find dozens of roaches, bed bugs and all other sorts of creepy crawlies, having the time of their disgusting little lives. This may have been in part at least, because the room sat in a state of near perpetual darkness... They had taken the liberty of removing all of the light bulbs. The pictures that I took really don't do it justice, because at all times there were bugs moving across the floor and up and down the walls. So what did I do? I left of course and asked for my money back... which was $105 (including a $30, refundable deposit). I made my way down to the window where I'd paid before (yeah, I know... shoulda been my first clue, but I was exhausted), to let the previously cordial attendee know about the deplorable conditions. She responded by refusing to refund my money, saying she could only provide me with a different room. This was an outrage and a disgusting display of unprofessionalism, rudeness and short-sightedness. She continuously interrupted me, assuming (incorrectly) that she knew what I would be saying. She actually said to me at one point, "I wouldn't pull into a place like this, but that's just me. The owner of this place is a Pakistani man and he tells me no refunds, so I give no refunds." I asked her if she had a room with no bugs, and she replied by saying that she thought a room on the first floor would be better. Being on foot and essentially broke, I had to choose the first floor room or sleep under the stars in a neighborhood where the primary lighting came in revolving shades of red and blue. She was right... the first floor room DID have less bugs (though far from bug-free). It also had a toilet that didn't flush and a front door that could be pushed open without the need of a key. The Knights Inn is a disgrace that should be condemned immediately. The woman working the front "office" should be removed from her position and never allowed to work in a position that puts her in contact with other human beings again. The Better Business Bureau will definitely be getting contacted by myself, as will every other city, county and state agency that has anything to do with any aspect related to the business being conducted by The Knights Inn. For now, do yourself a big favor; don't even consider stopping at this cesspool of filth and wanton neglect. You might spend the rest of your natural life trying to wash the disgusting experience off your body and out of...
Read moreI wish they had negative stars cause that's what this place deserves. we made reservations for Saturday when we arrived to the hotel first thing we saw where nothing but crack heads everywhere. we when into the front desk we checked in and as soon as we started driving around the building looking for parking their was a mess all around the hotel their was dirty nasty mattress, sofas, cabinets, all around just standing on the walls. their where crack head people in their cars doing drugs and just spying on people that would drive in most likely they where spying trying to check who could they robe into. also when we notice that the place didn't look safe we decided to go check on the 2 units that we got and what was our biggest surprise? was that both of the rooms where not cleaned at all not even a cleaner had been in the rooms. also when we open the doors to check the rooms they smelled nothing but cigars inside witch it was disgusting also the furniture was old and dirty the beds where super dirty and the mattress where ripped and carpets where filthy super dirty all stained it seemed that they haven't been cleaned for years. after we saw all the wrong things we when to the front desk and talked to the lady and told her what we had seen and that we didn't feel safe in the area and that the rooms where not even cleaned at all and if we can get out money back she said " no" and what did we mean that we didn't feel safe in there and she said that all she can do was give us different rooms but she couldn't give us the money back. so we left right on the spot. we totally don't recommend for no one to stay in this hotel specially if you have kids not even to bring them around this area it is not SAFE at ALL. this place totally looked like if they sell drugs in there even looks like if they even have prostitution in there as well just by looking at the people that where coming in and out from the rooms. and the sad thing about it too is that they had little kids in there with all them drug addicts it...
Read moreWe were traveling through on a camping trip and the weather was threatening to turn bad so we opted for a cheap motel room for the night. Having had moderate success with Knight's Inns in other areas we opted for this one.||||"Cheap" doesn't apply to the price. I've paid less for better places. There's no breakfast, no fridge, no microwave. The television is an old tube model television, and we had to get the remote from the office with strict instructions to return it when we check out. The cable kept freezing, suggesting it's either satellite or digital antenna. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out and running slow.||||I made sure to make a reservation before arrival. When we checked in it was just after 3pm. The desk clerk was friendly enough but was having trouble finding a room that had yet been cleaned and prepared. Some of the rooms had just had the carpets cleaned so the carpet was still damp, but since none of the other rooms were apparently ready so we were given one of the ones with damp carpet. Not a big problem since we tend to run around in bare feet whenever possible. The problem is that the room was completely stripped down for cleaning: no sheets, no towels, trash was still full. I went to the office and informed the clerk, who moved us to another room. ||||While this one was "prepared" it was only just. The bed was made. We had two bath towels and a wash cloth. No hand towel, no bath mat, no hangers. It was marked as "Non-Smoking" but smelled of smoke. One bedside light didn't have a bulb in it.There was a spot in the wall above the a/c unit that was either from someone hitting it or water damage and was poorly repaired.||||In all, it looks like it once was a decent place and at various times someone has tried to put money back into it but not enough and not consistently. Perhaps they're in an up-swing right now and will actually make some improvements. For now, though, it's not worth the $50 plus costs that we paid. If you only need a bed, this will do. If you're looking for anything...
