Bow Vista Cabin — Hotel in Pigeon Forge

This place is the pits!!!!!! When we arrived we opened the door and the cabin smelled like body odor and mold!!! The body odor smell came from extra bed sheets in the master bedroom closet and the mold or mildew smell appears to originate from standing water in the lower level shower. None of the bath tub whirlpool jets work on any of the bath tubs. The master bedroom sink drains very slow, the foliage covers the views, house, and grill. The hot tub jet knob was yanked out and the inside piece in the knob was turned upside down by the previous tenants, the head rest on one side was thrown to the side of the hot tub by previous tenants, beer cans and trash were left beside the house next to the hot tub. The gutters have tape holding the seams of the gutter together and a snake popped out of it. There were spiders in the lower level and there was building materials left in the car port. The light bulbs were all over the place, daylight bright white and soft white bulbs. Some of the decor was chipped/broken. I had apologized to someone with us and told them I had no idea it would be this bad his reply to it was that’s ok it’s comical...

Disappointing Stay – Needs Serious Maintenance

We were very disappointed with our recent stay at this property. From the moment we entered, there was a strong bad odor that never went away, making it quite uncomfortable. The bathrooms had multiple issues — the standing shower had water clogging, both bathroom doors wouldn’t lock, and the toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall.

The overall cleanliness was lacking. We noticed spider webs inside the home and the air filter hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The mattresses were not very comfortable either, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.

Both jacuzzi tubs in the bathrooms were non-functional, which was a big letdown since they were one of the advertised amenities. To make things worse, the thermostat was stuck at 78°F and couldn’t be adjusted, so the entire house felt uncomfortably hot. The downstairs ceiling fan barely worked and did nothing to help with the heat.

Overall, the property is in need of serious maintenance and attention to detail. Until these issues are addressed, I wouldn’t recommend...
