Above the Mist — Hotel in Pigeon Forge

Amazing week with a perfect view of the smokey mountains!! The cabin is better than advertised. Clean, spacious, full of everything a family needs to enjoy a week on vacation!! The kids loved the pool table, arcade games, hot tub and having space to themselves!! The view from the deck is unobstructed, panoramic and beautiful!!! It is located in a very private setting, you can barely see only a small portion of a single cabin on either side, and that's at a distance. Quiet, secluded, easy drive to town and all the attractions!! We wouldn't hesitate to stay at "Above the Mist" again. The owners were fantastic, communicated with us as needed and left us to ourselves the entire week. We had zero issues with the cabin, appliances, or the property as a whole. We chose this house for our first visit to TN because of the view and interior, and are VERY glad we did.

It was perfect for our family and everyone had plenty of space to either be together or have some quiet time throughout the week. The two decks were amazing and it literally felt like we were the only house around no matter the time of day or night. Rob was always quick to reply/answer questions from initial booking to the end of the stay and there were no major issues that needed addressing.

Not being used to hill/mountain driving, either approach to the house (road is basically a loop) was nerve-wracking the first couple days, but we quickly adjusted and learned to take it slow, watching out for other vehicles coming the other way, etc. After the learning curve, it was absolutely worth it for the view and solitude.

Absolutely outstanding! The views were phenomenal. It was hard to leave the cabin because we loved it so much. We had a party of 7 (2 teens, a 10 year old, a senior, and 3 adults) and we were all comfortable and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. It’s not a far drive to anything: The Island, Old Mill, Dollywood, tons of restaurants, mountain coasters…all super close. We had the most wonderful family vacation in the Smokies.
