I went to sugar maple cabin Sweet Dreams for 3 nights. July 28th 29th and 30th
The first night, refrigerator, air-hockey, hot tub, one toilet seat, one side of toaster were not working. I called, no one even responded. I went to their office the next day only to realize that they have office hours between 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
I canceled one of my plans and came back during their office hours. The lady at the front desk somehow got an over worked maintenance guy to come to the cabin. He tried to fix the refrigerator but it completely stopped working. The hot tub was also not working. He tinkered around with that too. He removed the fuse and was trying to tell me that it was only partially working... like I was a completely stupid. That night a lady called me at around 8 PM and offered to change my cabin. It was a few miles away and I had a few drinks already, so I could not drive, also, in a 3 night vacation, I was not going to move 4 times. I was hoping that they at least offer me to move in the morning. The lady told me that they will get a new refrigerator for me in the morning. And as you would expect from a business like Sugar Maple Cabins, no one came. And yea... before I forget.... the grill is on the street side.... like right besides the street. I felt awkward cooking in the street. I emailed the manager Jeff... He said he could not help me since they already offered to change my cabin. But no mention of the circumstances in which I declined. In fact he mentioned something in my contract that needs public attention.
"Refund Policy: We will do everything we can to make sure your cabin is ready for you. As in any home, malfunctions occasionally happen. No refunds will be issued for non-working amenities, malfunctions in equipment (i.e. hot tubs, saunas, whirlpool tubs, televisions, internet, stereos, VCRs, etc.), early departures, or for any weather conditions."
This is used as a vehicle to not fix any non emergency issues in cases where something needs fixing.

Read moreOur stay was great. We have stayed at 2 or 3 other cabins in Pigeon Forge and none have been as nice or clean or as well maintained as Cloud Nine.
Also no one has been as helpful and nice as the Sugar Maple Cabins reservation staff. They helped us find the right cabin and let us take our time to make a decision about which one we wanted. I talked to two very nice ladies. One was Dorian and the other I can't remember her name (I wish I could).
The internet access was top notch, which is very important to my family. We had no problems streaming Netflix, Amazon, and other content providers.
The only real recommendation I could make for the Cloud Nine cabin is that they swap the SD cable box in the main room for an HD one. It doesn't make sense for it to be an HD TV, but only have SD content. The other two TV's did receive HD content but had fewer channels, which is fine.
The location is very good too. It is very close to Dollywood and close to Gatlinburg as well. There is a grocery store (Food City which is small but has good prices) within 5-10 minutes from the cabin. It is also close to two of the roads that run off the main strip (Teaster Ln and Veterans Blvd) which allowed us to get around Pigeon Forge in much less time than driving down the main strip.

Read more217Amet Way. We will never recommend this company to our worst enemies let alone friends.We paid for 4 night stay over Thanksgiving. We rented this cabin to enjoy our time together as a family. The cabin was not clean, drawers in refrigerator broken, pool area moldy/musty smell. Old spaghetti sauce dried on the main living area floor. Beds broken, fan blades so loose the fan wobbling to much to use, arcade games didn't work, washer takes 3-4 times to spin the water out the clothes, the dryer takes 2-3 times to dry the clothes, the threshold at back door rotted and in need of repair. The cabinet in the kitchen fell apart and the dishes came flying out and broke in many pieces at 11:55 pm when no one was around! Which was a blessing or the story would have not ended well.
We talked to the neighbors and they kindly informed us that the owner doesn't really care so nothing will be done. We are still waiting a response from the manager at Sugar Maple Cabins/Wyndham vacation rentals.
