Mountain Splash — Hotel in Pigeon Forge

The cabin itself wasn't terrible. It's now called the "Splash Mountain" (instead of Mountain Splash). It was pretty outdated. The cabin sold approximately 10 years ago and they have not updated it a single bit (even the same curtains). The main issues with our stay I would say would lie with the company that manages the property, Gatlinburg Falls. We arrived at 4 PM (check-in time) but we had to wait on someone to come and "inspect" the cabin before we received the code to unlock the door. No one ever came, but we received the code about an hour and a half later. Upon entering, there were several issues. The AC on the main floor was out, and wasn't repaired until the next day. The indoor pool heater was no functioning correctly. The indoor pool was dirty. The resort pool ("heated") outside was filthy and freezing. The dryer breaker was flipped so we couldn't use until they came to fix the AC and flipped the breaker. The hot tub was outdated and not functioning properly. The indoor pool was leaking and had to be refilled, meaning it took another day to reheat. The darts were broken, several arcade games were broken, and the air hockey paddles were missing their felt. Only 3 TVs in the entire cabin of 7 bedrooms worked. Only one fireplace and one jacuzzi tub worked. Our toilet flusher broke. We had 2 blankets in the entire cabin. One of the bathroom doorknobs fell apart with my mother in law inside the bathroom. Several stairs need repaired/replaced. The upstairs deck door does not lock. The dishwasher is not mounted in the kitchen peninsula so it falls out every time you open it. OH and there were COCKROACHES crawling on the counter in the kitchen!! Luckily for us we were able to get most of these issues worked out by calling maintenance a million times and were able to get a small partial refund. Unfortunately I do not think we will use this company next time. They have ran this cabin down and it is in desperate need of repair...

The rooms were half clean. We found a use wash cloth in the shower, and it was molded on our shower liners. The wall was so thin that I could hear everything going on in the cabin. We have problems with wifi, the televisions, and the icemaker to the refrigerator. We have a problem getting the temperature set in the cabin. We had two bed that were already broken, and they just sat a plake under the bed like it was fixed. It was just terrible that my cousin said she's not going to come...

Very disappointed in the amount of money that was spent renting this cabin No trash cans in some of the rooms and trash cans. Floors were dirty upon arrival Night stand in our bedroom had sticky candy or something all over it Linens didn’t look clean or even smell clean. Door on front porch was messed up if you let it close behind you it would not open back up would have to walk around porch and house to get back in ROACHES in bedroom...
