The place was kinda cool. My main focus when picking a cabin for my Pigeon Forge trip was avoiding the other cabins whose descriptions included "4 wheel drive recommended" and "steep driveway." I knew I'd be sacrificing awesome mountaintop views by doing that. But the area is still relaxing enough, views of trees surrounded by small rolling hills. This cabin is located in a small holler with a few other cabins. It's an easy enough drive in. I couldn't make heads or tails from the driving directions I got from the company so we google mapped it. (Screenshot your directions, you might lose cel signal). I found it way easier to turn in from Indian Cir Drive at the southeast end of 321. It turns into Conner Heights Rd then into Mill Creek Rd. Follow Mill Creek Rd. for a few minutes, then it's going to do this thing where you have to turn left (at a horse farm) in order to stay on Mill Creek. After a few minutes Mill Creek becomes Laurel Lick Rd and a minute later turn left onto Bruce Ogle Way and you're at the cabin. The cabin is about 10 minutes off the parkway. The paved roads are smooth. Bruce Ogle Way is like a washed out gravel driveway with a pothole or two. The cabin is decent. One bedroom with a king bed; a loft with twin bunks and a queen. Full bath upstairs and one and a half downstairs. Huge front porch, small back porch off the bedroom with a hot tub. Charcoal grill in the yard. There's a grill brush outside but no other grilling utensils in the cabin. You can tell that previous guests tried to grill with the kitchen utensils. There's a huge open field in front of the cabins that seems well-maintained with a fire pit (bring your own wood). The cabin has a washer/dryer and dishwasher. There were only two garbage bags provided though. Cellular coverage is non-existent. There is wifi but it is weak. I just stared at a Netflix loading screen on the tv one night for five minutes until I fell asleep. I don't think the movie ever started. The kids didn't seem to have any problems with their iPad, and my phone connected to wifi just fine. There is direct tv or dish tv, I dunno which, I'm not a TV watcher. but that worked fine too. Oh, I think the cabin is on well water so it seems very hard. The kind of water where soap doesn't lather too well on your skin. Maybe I'm just weird when it comes to noticing that kind of thing though. We didn't encounter any bears, but we saw two skunks in the field, and a hawk in the tree. Oh, if you take Mill Creek Rd back to the parkway via Indian Cir Dr it's very easy to get on and off there, whether you're going to Dollywood or Gatlinburg. There is also a Marathon gas station right on the corner which has small essentials like sunscreen and charcoal. The parking lot is steep by the pumps so park a little further up in the strip mall parking lot. Overall, I know there are bigger and fancier cabins in the area with better views. This was our first trip to the area and this cabin served its purpose. It was close and convenient to where we wanted to go. Nitpicking on minor things like lack of proper bbq utensils...
