We stayed in a 2 king suite to accommodate our family. We were traveling with my mother in law and needed a separate bedroom:) so we could get enough sleep due to snoring. The separate bedroom had just the bed, nightstands, dresser with TV and a bench at the end of the bed for a suitcase. The separate room also had its own temperature control which is also critical if you are traveling with someone who likes the room like an oven.
The main room has the 2nd king bed, a pull out sofa, the TV and dresser, a desk with a chair and pull out table, a small wet bar with a mini fridge and microwave, and access to the bathroom.
It is a comfortable room for a family and it was VERY clean. If you don't need the extra space go for a balcony room as those rooms have a view of the valley which is beautiful because the hotel sits on top of a hill.
The front desk and breakfast staff were super friendly and helpful and HAPPY. It is so nice to be greeted by employees who are upbeat!
My kids had a great experience in the pool which is open 24/7. The breakfast was good and allowed for COVID safety but still offered a full breakfast.
During our stay our upstairs neighbors caused a flood (I think that was the issue?-it seemed like the tub overflow in the shower may have been the issue and once fixed the problem should not reoccur) and we woke up to water raining down in our bathroom. These things happen and maintenance was quick to come to our room and try to help resolve the issue. There was nothing to be done except wait for the water to finish leaking through the cracks in the bathroom ceiling, light, and vent. During the time that the water was still leaking we were given access to another room so we could use the bathroom while our bathroom was unusable. The hotel also worked to get another room that could accommodate our family clean and ready as soon as it was vacated (the hotel was full except for one room) which was so appreciated.
We would definitely...
Read moreMy mother has always been very finnicky about hotel rooms and that is a trait she has passed on to me. If a hotel is dirty or sketchy at all in anyway I am not afraid to march right out of there. So you can be sure that I tell the truth when I say that this Hotel was amazing. They were so kind and upon arrival I was greeted and chatted with. I felt very welcome. The staff that I dealt with was spectacular. My room was great too. The beds were comfy and the lighting was actually pretty good. Lighting is usually one of my biggest complaints about hotels in general - If I cant see good I get irritated beyond belief - but here had adequate lighting in the main room and the bathroom had great lighting. everything felt clean and the AC worked good. The internet was good, but a little weird. It seemed like it would disconnect from mobile devices if it wasn't being used, but it would always connect back up when you needed it. All in all I would say this was a great hotel and I would definitely stay...
Read moreOur family enjoyed being in the suite with two king beds and a hide-a-bed couch. I liked the fact that you could close the door for the extra room. Beds were comfy (but we brought an extra 2-inch foam pad for the couch - just what it needed!) Breakfast was fabulous - two staff members kept the options constantly stocked: muffins, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, bagels, cereal, juice. Kids loved the automatic pancake machine and chocolate milk. I liked the peppermint mocha squirt in my hot chocolate! Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at 7 pm are worth the trip to the lobby. We had the pool to ourselves. (Hot tub was a nice temperature, but the jets were not working.) Fitness room was great with a large screen TV. I spent time on the computer in the business center. Internet speed was quick and responsive. Everything looked clean and new. Staff was wonderful. The view is great from the top of the hill. You should try this place out - you'll be...
