Tumbleweed RV PARK — Hotel in Quartzsite

This place was once great but now since the son Paul took over it's horrible. The day he got here to run the park he raised the rent. He tried raising $100 right then and there. It wasn't bill time he just arrived didn't like the way the guy his dad hired running it. Who had it full. Well that day 2 people left and within 4 says the park became half empty. Then he made us move to do work where we lived but that spot was never dug up or worked on. Then he raises the rent without warning. Last not but least when my husband got his dirt bike he went Paul and asked him if it was ok to ride on property. Not only did he say yes he told my husband to go riding on the track in back of the property. Where the dry campers are. Now after a month Paul sort of comes tell my husband. He is so bad at his job. Firstly jes barely here and doesn't even know what's going in his own park. Then he lives hiring meth heads for grounds work. He stayed in the truck saying that there's complaints. Well he never listend to ours. I told him about the dog months ago he pretended like it was his first time hearing a out it. This is a quad town during season all our neighbors had quads running b4 7 am he was ok with that. So if want to relax and enjoy your stay stress free, go elsewhere. Paul is just after money and what is good for him at the moment. So what might be ok one day will change just cause. Even though he and other people can use there quads on side by side in this property still, my husband cant ride his dirt bike even to get off property. Anywhere is better than her even Rice Ranch. I honestly thought I'd never say that. But it's TRUE.

I forgot something. Ladies a d children pleas be warned, when talking to Paul, if he has to oee he won't say a word he'll just turn whip you know what out a d pee right there in front of you. When jes done he'll explain hes saving the water bill. Idk about you but I don't go talk to him for that reason. Hes disgusting, rude and in charge. So good luck to show r steps doot in this park. My prayers are out for you. Again good luck you'll need it.

Update: instead of changing his behavior, or cleaning up the park. Paul is attempting a self help eviction which is illegal. He has no ground. We pay our on time every month. The only reason its not paid on the first cause our bill isn't ready by then. We have to wait at least a day for someone it changes so much. Paul your attempting to move us cause you don't like the reviews. Then clean up your park. You have poop bags all over your dry camp area left by dry campers that aren't here. Grey and blue bags every where. You have beer cans thrown in the front more the opposite end of your trailer. You pay people to work here why is all trashed for weeks like this? You don't want a bad review change your park. Don't raise rent with 24hrs cause you feel like it. You gave permission to use a dirt bike instead being a reasonable human being when you got complaints, like saying hey I know I gave you permission to use it but now we have complaints can you use off the property. No he came in his truck yelling at my husband you ride that thing again you'll be evicted. That is disrespectful to long time resident who is never late on bills and came to him first. You don't want bad reviews don't be a bad manger owner. Then you won't. Clean up tour park. Why do pay these homeless looking people if they don't do anything. Stop peeing in front of people. Once we move this review still stays and stands. The only way to change a bad review is fix the problem. Only reason I will change any and all of mine is if things change. Till then I so not recommend this place to anyone. Especially putting stress on a high risk...

If they had a lower rating, I would have given it. This place does not even rate a full star. We have been full time RVers for four years + and have been across the US and back. We have never been in any place worse than this. Rose RV evidentiality decided to make more money this year at the campers expense. They divided each site into two. If this wasn't bad enough, they did not upgrade the electrical or sewer. This meant that only one person could hook up to 50 amp service and the other 30 amp. Most people did not have a long enough power cord so they just plugged into the closest pedestal, even if it wasn't assigned to them. Now the sewer. "Unbelievable." They mickey moused pvc pipes to attempt to reach both coaches. The pipes stood about a foot above the ground. No one could elevate their sewer hose to that hight so your hose was in a U shape and trapped sewer waste in the hose. You also had to use an extension in order to reach the pipe. Several of the connections leaked and the smell was unbelievable. You didn't even want to open the windows on your coach at times. I am sure that the health department was not aware of this modification. I realize that Rose RV has to maintain the park all year and that they make their big bucks during the Quartzsite RV and Gem Show, however this is just plane wrong. To charge $260 for one week and to mickey mouse the sites so that some people could not even put their slides out is taking advantage. Rose RV has lost my business. Not will I never stay there again, I will tell everyone I know to stay clear of them. Rose RV may have made a lot more money this year, but it will bite him in the future for sure. Everyone I talked to there said they will never stay here...

We are full-time RV'ers and have stayed at a lot of parks in the past 3 years, but nothing, I repeat nothing, prepared us for the experience we have had here at Rose RV Park. Stayed here during the 2014 RV Show. The mgmnt decided this past year to cut the full-hookup sites in half to give them more sites to rent out. But they did not upgrade the sewer system to handle the new sites so there are 4" PVC pipe laying on top of the ground for ALL of the sites now. The inlets are not sized right so many sites you can't even put your sewer tube into it. I used Duct Tape to get my line to stay so I could use it. The place stinks because of the open sewer lines and from people who don't have a solid hookup and sewage has seeped out. The power pedestals were upgraded but only with 1-30 amp & 1-50 amp plug so there were some people who didn't have good power for their RV's. The mgmnt people were totally not helpful in resolving situations, instead, just telling people to plug in to where-ever you can. The stink at times was terrible. The health hazard was unbelievable. The mgmnt unhelpful. We, along with our other 8 friends will not be back...
