We went to see Imagine Dragons concert in Sept 2024. However, we were very disappointed with the lack of organization whatsoever. I would like to share with others about what you are going to experience: You park your car on a lawn, then walk on a path to the venue. You appear at the gates with security to enter the venue. You need to make up a line that goes the opposite way. So from the parking lot all 30,000 people enter at the beginning and have to find lines (there are no markings, no directions, nothing). People (like us, who came to have fun) describe to others, who just entered, of what’s going on (not our job?). We came at 2.30 pm, sat on the grass in the line waiting for the gate to open at 4.30 pm (scheduled time). It finally opened at 5.15. You go through security, they check your bags. All good. Then you enter the venue…and that’s where the chaos starts…lots of people, GIANT lines, no staff, who would direct people. We were trying to find a line to the Pit (that’s where we had our tickets). No directions at all. We started asking people what are they in line for. They said “mmm…don’t know, GA”. So NO ONE knew where their line was going to. We approached staff at the gate to the lawns. They said the “left” line was for the pit. Okay…we walked along the line back to find where it starts…and it was merging from two other lines…. There was nothing showing directions or some sort of fences along which people could form lines. We asked other staff, and a woman couldn’t understand what we were asking (either she didn’t know English or was there without a training). After trying to figure out what was going on, staff opened the gates to the lawns, and everyone (thousands of people!) just rushed to get their seats. At that point, no lines were followed. It was such a chaos… That was 5.30ish. The concert should’ve scheduled to start at 7pm, and there were supposed to be some activities (scheduled, and advertised). However, the only activity we had, was waiting in lines for hours…

And then leaving the concert…it was late in the evening, and again, the crowd, thousands of people were just going somewhere to the exit (no staff around, no directions, nothing). Unmanageable crowd could be dangerous. Finally we made our way to the car. And everyone was trying to turn around, back towards the exit/entrance. Cars. No lines. No directions. Total chaos. Luckily, we stayed in that traffic for an hour, but you can imagine thousands of cars were left behind in that traffic. You can be there for hours. Many people were just sitting by their cars, waiting for everyone to leave before they started moving.

I have never seen such bad organization of an event in my life. It was a sold out, 30,000 people.

Otherwise, a beautiful location! It could’ve been an amazing experience, should the...

Been coming here for almost 10 years and the pricing has gotten ridiculous. There’s a lot of incompetent staff mixed in with the good staff and they do a terrible job at regulating traffic. Cars will almost run into you in line and despite all the flaggers, you’ll almost get sideswiped constantly. I have sat for hours in the camp line despite arriving early because the staff directed traffic incorrectly, causing people who showed up later to go first. This has literally caused hours of delay and you don’t receive an apology or any accommodation while you’re just baking there in your car.

Security will tear up your car without a care and will treat you poorly to intimidate you. This place has gone downhill over the years and it shows. Some shows after the pandemic did not let you buy bottled water inside the venue, only canned, in order to get you to spend more because of the bottled water, you can put the cap on and then refill it. With a can, it is much more difficult to do that (Think liquid death type cans).

What used to be normal gold camping pricing is now GA pricing. Premium camping used to include a shuttle service, now this camping option not only costs more but you also need to pay a separate $40 for the shuttle. I’m done coming to this place and supporting these egregious practices.

The security to let me inside the venue dropped my clothing after searching me, which landed in water by the table on their end so I couldn’t reach it. Instead of helping me grab it they just checked the next person, chatting with them while my clothing soaked. I had to ask them to pick it up, which She did so with a disdainful look on her face.

20$ for some old cheese and small bits of chicken quesadilla. You’re out here surviving in hot weather, they don’t have the decency to at least nourish you properly and still price gouge for it. sometimes you buy a teriyaki bowl and walk back to where you were sitting which many be 15 or more minutes away, only to realize that it is undercooked. This has happened more than once. The drinks are the same price wise. Some shows they won’t sell bottled water with caps, only in cans so if you forget to bring your own hydration pack or water bottle you’re stuck buying cans. This happened the first Bass canyon after the pandemic, there were 3 ambulances carting people away during the show...

We payed for a premium camping spot. Which sounds great and was supposed to come with all these amenities and larger camp site, all of this was over $90. What we got was a decent sized campsite on a hill. The reason was there wasn't much organisation to the size of the campsites. Apparently they relied on the movable trash cans for markers of the campsite sizes. Which since we were on the other side of an row that had already been filled the campers that were already set up had started moving the trash cans to be more convenient for them. The hill we were on ment that everything was sliding the grill and anything else that we put on the table and the mattress in the tent. When we discovered our unfortunate campsite and realized that we would need extra supplies so that we could at least use the spot we were given we were told that we couldn't leave very rudely by one of the workers there. Luckly another worker informed us that they did have a store on the premises. The store did have some basic things and we were able to get enough things to make a night work at the campsite. The ONE notice about not being able to leave is on their website way down on one of the several differnt pages. They did not have a sign or inform us that we were pretty much captive until late the next morning. The time we were finally allowed to leave was also up for debate with the workers at the site. We were told that we could leave at 6am tried to leave then told 8am. Tried yet again to leave and told 10am. At 10 am we were finaly allowed to go off the grounds. Most of these issues could be solved with better organisation and planning. This is a place that uses these campgrounds fairly often. Simply having permanent makeres for the campsites would already be a great improvement...TLDR Over priced unorganized shabby campsite, that you can not leave until the...

I just got back from camping at the Gorge Campground over Labor Day (Dave) Weekend. This was my 6th year at the Gorge, and while I’ve camped in different areas over the years, the last 4 have been in Gold/Big Rig. I also camp at various sites throughout the summer, so I’m familiar with how different campgrounds operate. The Positives: -The best improvement this year was the painted lines marking each site. In the past, parking was chaotic and stressful, but this simple change made arrival so much smoother. Kudos to LN for implementing it. We rolled in knowing we had the exact space we paid for. Excellent! -Lanes were also clearly marked, making it easy to exit if needed. -Check-in and security were seamless. The process was efficient, and every staff member was friendly and professional. It felt reassuring knowing all vehicles were being screened. -The new shower trailer was another great upgrade. Having individual lockable shower rooms gave the privacy and comfort that campers appreciate. -As always, the port-o-potties were impressively clean and well-stocked, with plenty available and regular maintenance. -I also noticed additional fencing this year, which further improved security. Wishes for the Future: -My biggest concern is still security inside Big Rig. While we receive bracelets at check-in, no one checked them after that. In reality, anyone coming back from a show could walk right in without being questioned. I understand it would take significant staff and infrastructure to monitor bracelets, but it remains a safety gap. -The price increase this year was steep. The upgrades were great, but I’d love to see prices stabilize for a few years now. -A lofty wish-list idea: it would be amazing to have e-bike or e-scooter rentals available in Big Rig for on-site use. Overall, thank you for another great weekend at the Gorge!

Thank you Russ for the jump. they have a mechanic on site to give jumps he's a great guy friendly and nice. But The walk from standard camping to the main stage is about 45 minutes walk. Not to mention the up-and-down steep hills you have to climb to get there and back again. 1 1/2 hr round trip so you don't spend much time at your campground unless you don't want to see the shows. You will miss some of the shows because they have them at the same time; Nashville and main stage play during the day around the same time. And they don't open the gate until 1 and show start at 2 which doesn't give you a lot of time to look around and do some of the activities they have unless you want to miss the show which is why we were there. Be prepared to pay a high price for a bag of ice at $8 a bag and drinks will be $18+ the cowboy hat is$30. Didn't get to try much of the food because it's $18 just for a corn dog, they do have great pretzels and cheese for $8. Phone charging stations were nice and convenient. The showers at the standard camping is less than desirable you have no place to get dressed except for in the opening in front of a bunch of strangers. Most of the shower heads are broken so you just get a stream of water. I'm not sure how often they clean them but when I went in there once there was soap everywhere that people have left and razors and trash on the floor. The campsites were much smaller in the standards this year me and my neighbors had to zigzag are 10 x 10 canopy in order for them to fit on the campsite without touching.
