Favorite part of our trip to puerto rico. First place we stayed with hot water. The bed was cozy. We want to know where you got these robes. We stayed in 204 and were surprised to find they had installed a jacuzzi tub on the deck. The beach is perfect for swimming. Nice sandy bottom to walk out. Some reef out there for snorkeling. The beach is just the width of the property. So its basically private. They have a nice outdoor kitchen area with a stove. I never cooked but inspected it and its all you need. Pots and pans. Etc.
Internet worked fine. I noticed they have backup generators. Pleasant people to talk to. You can rent two chairs and an umbrella for $20 for your whole stay. I recommend it. The lady that brought it was nice.
Fishing was good. I tried a lot of gear. I had an x-rapp (walk the dog) that was productive. It seemed to get needlefish.
I did best with just squid and a bottom rig. I snorkeled out there and there are some big deep holes. So I tied a 12lb line between my rig and weight, and lost some weights. Constant lane snapper. I am from california so I don’t know how to fish here. But I learned you really need to use big hooks. The things are ambitious. Little tiny fish will go after huge baits/hooks. Never figured it out.
We look forward to coming back with our family one day. Thanks.
Edit: Read the other reviews and cracking up. Behind the hotel is trailers that seem like vacation spots for locals. They all build a little deck on with outdoor kitchen and they have them fixed up pretty nice. A few families came on the weekend. All nice people. The highlight here is the beach. I appreciate the chairs for $20. Makes sense. They get worn with time. $20 covers someone coming to deliver them to us. They are the really nice tommy bahama ones...
Read moreIt’s not what it appears to be. Don’t be fooled. Looked amazing in the advertising but when we arrived we found that we had to get to the unit through a run down trailer 3d world trailer park which they never mention. Our view from our door was the back end of an old rusted travel trailer. Make no mistake, it is not as advertised. Yes the price was not bad but…The room was dirty with bugs in electrical outlets and glass fragments on the floor! We did not want to unpack our bags, just wanted to leave. The owner would not refund us a dime. We pre paid for the five days. Please!!! Don’t book it till you see it. The beach was slightly steep to the water. No sugar white sand beach here - mostly brown septic gravel…Very small beach front. We had to rent beach chairs and umbrella.|Had to buy ice ($20 for 5lbs) because they did not...
Read moreThe location was great pictures are exactly what it looks like. But the shower was dirty and full of hair, the towels had hair and were dirty. The shades were dirty as well. I spoke to services about it they did absolutely nothing about it. It’s sad because the place has potential but the cleaning service was horrible and then they acted like they didn’t care. I wasn’t asking for much just new towels or at least to discount the cleaning fee and they ignored me. So if you want a clean bathroom and clean towels,...
