Budget Motel — Hotel in Rock Hill

I have stayed at this location twice. The 1st time was decent. The 2nd time Was not pleasant. I did view the room at it seemed clean. The owner/manager gaved us a smoking room based on the fact that he saw my husband and I outside smoking prior to booking a room. (We do not under any circumstances smoke around our daughter) when it was time for us to lay down for bed, My husband could not breathe Due to be embedded smoke trapped in the headboard of the bed and the mattress as well. My husband used his inhaler and he still couldnt breathe. I practically Begged The owner/manager if he could give us a non smoking room because my husband was having a difficult time breathing. The manager kept telling me he could not do so because we smoke. I mentioned the fact to him that He has always seen us go outside to smoke. The manager rolled his eye and only said that he could give us a different (smoking)room inthe morning with a brand new air conditioner filter. But there was nothing he could do for us that night. My husband's breathing became worse and I had no choice but to call for an ambulance. At that point the manager came to my room to see if he was ok. The manager then tried Again to say "it wasn't the room, it must be the South Carolina weather...pollen" I Am from a really small town in North Carolina where there arw literally a bunch of trees. So needless to say, I do NOT recommend...

Don't stay at this flop house! The manager was extremely rude and would not let me view the room. I went ahead and took a chance because of the cheap price. ..HUGE MISTAKE! Sheets had not been cleaned . .found pubic hairs and worse in the bed. I got woke up in the night itching like crazy with bedbugs. When I showed several bugs I had killed to the manager he told me to just go to another motel and refused to discount my room or give a refund . I told him to go back to India(as well as somewhere else) . If you are foolish enough to gamble on staying at this crap hole just to save a few dollars like I thought: believe me you have been warned. Be wise and pay a few more dollars to stay...

I would absolutely give this place zero stars if I could. The manager refused to talk to me even though someone stole my debit card information, made a fake ID and checked in. All I tried to obtain was an authorization number on the transaction so I could get my money back ASAP as I was about to travel. He flat out refused to give this information, even though IT WAS MY DEBIT CARD. Management was very rude and spoke very broken English. I’ve never been to South Carolina, but would 100% not recommend based solely on an unprofessional management and that when I actually look up this hotel is looks sketchy as well. Thanks for allowing your shady customers to ruin...
