Rocking Eagle Inn — Hotel in Rockaway Beach

Had some family down from Illinois and recommended them to stay there, but they couldn't because they don't have an handicap accessible room. They ended up in Branson because they couldn't find a room in town that was handicap friendly. Had to contact martain tieg the owner of another motel because the rooms at this place are not handicap friendly from the ground up. Has nothing to do with Jim, it has to do with the motel not being ads compliant. Don't be upset Carl, I sent you some business last night. Even they said that the room was tiny and not easily accessible. I don't see a need in bashing you on the internet, but after the complaint I filed against the owners yesterday with the MCHR you are going to become ADA compliant. Recently I uncovered a DNR report that states the location has lead paint, mold, and asbestos. Let me start this review with I'm staying here for a week, and this is my first wakeup. As was most journeys my timeline was not correct and so I got in later than I expected. Upon arrival it was about 10:30 p.m. and I'm greeted at the door by the owners. To let me in talk to me about what's expected and show me to my room. They are the kindest people I've ever met. My room is clean, the bed was beautifully displayed, everything works as desired. I slept like a baby. They provided me with a Keurig for coffee and plenty of k-cups. I'm pleasantly beginning my vacation/moving plans.

My husband and I love to stay here for a few weeks at a time just to get away. The owners are a huge reason why! They are so hospitable! The rooms are always very clean and we find them to be spacious. The pool is also very clean. I highly recommend to simple people just wanting to kick back and enjoy nature...
