Worst place ever. Within 5 minutes of checking in had a loud shower sound in our room. My husband was still getting our stuff from the car when it started. So loud we couldn’t hear the fire alarms going off. Come to find out it was the sprinkler system next door. Finally opened our door up to see black like liquid flowing out from our neighbors room and puddling in front of our door. Our 6 year old was scared to death. We had a house fire a few years ago and she’s super scared of anything fire or storm related. After waiting outside for 30 minutes at almost 11 at night we went to the front desk to ask for a refund. Fire alarm still going off. We mentioned that it was almost 11 and we needed to get our daughter to bed, that the incident was right next door and it smelled terrible. Worker at the front desk said she totally understood and that she knows we literally just checked in. She took our room number down and said she would give us a refund no problem. Even apologized. Gave us a business card to call if we had any problems. Today we look at our credit card bill and they charged us! $161 for 5 minutes of having the room and 30 minutes of standing outside trying to calm our daughter down while the alarms were going off. Not to mention the numerous discussions about the black sludge from nightmares flooding the hall. ||I called today and now they are saying they won’t refund our room because “it wasn’t affected” even though we had to walk through the sludge to retrieve our stuff because it was outside our door and the employee working didn’t have authority to give us a refund. When I mentioned that’s not what THEIR employee told us, they said “well we’re telling you now!” As if that helps anything. Management is claiming that the alarms only went off for 15 minutes. Total lie. We gave them 30 minutes before going to the front desk because we wanted to give staff time to address the problem. What happened to integrity?!? Disputing charges but it makes me so upset that they treated us this way. We were polite and kind the whole time. We based what we decided to do (check out and paid to stay across the street) on what we were told by their employee. If it was just a fire alarm for 15 minutes I’d understand but the weird electrical fire smell, the gross liquid pouring across the hall and the alarm going off for over 30 minutes was crazy. They’re trying to play it off on the people that stayed in the room where the sprinkler went off but its hard to trust them when they’re shady about the refund...
Read moreBUYER BEWARE!!! They claim to have Queen size beds, but all of their “Queens” are 53” wide....which makes them Full size. Many hotels in the area with Full-size mattresses are $40 cheaper per night.||We chose this hotel for a trip me and my girlfriends were on for a weekend, and we wanted a mattress size that wouldn’t force us to cuddle while sleeping. Upon walking in the room, clearly not Queen-sized. A phone call to Stephanie at the front desk, and she was willing to put us in a new room, but upon looking around discovered that all of the rooms are Full-size mattresses. We were reminded that the booking was non-refundable, but “just stay the night and the Manager can help make things right” in the morning. One of use slept on the floor, it was too cramped on the bed. In the morning, had the pleasure to speak with Amy. She would not entertain any discounts, partial refunds, nor apologies. She just kept saying “We only have Queen mattresses.” No, you don’t. Mattress sizes are an industry standard. You’re not going to just slap some lipstick on a trout and call it Cinderella. She also commented that “you used the room.” Well, yeah. We had a non-refundable room based off false advertising, and had a predatory bait and switch provided by night shift telling us that the Manager would make things right.||I’ve tried calling and emailing this business to file formal complaints, they’ve ignored me thus far. I will edit this review if I ever hear back.||||TL;DR – Stay away, this...
