DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH, literally. Everyone goes 'up north' to rough it, but this little motel is a secret gem! Located perfectly with the nicest owners you could imagine. Heard stories from all the neighbors about how great the new owners really are. Ask about “THE RIVER”. Will return every chance I get!

Update - returned again end of October and the upgrades make this feel like a whole new place. They now have a large fire pit with chairs and tables that customers can sit around to enjoy!

When I pulled in on Thursday I mentioned that something was dragging on my car, hoping for info on a local garage. When I checked in, not only did Jack give me that information, he also went out & got under my car to look. He promptly figured out that he could go get a couple things & just fix it for me!!! What a great guy!!!

The room was also clean, quiet, comfortable & had everything I needed, including a fridge. I spent 3 nights there, and felt safe & rested well.
