Roseau Motel — Hotel in Roseau

While I cannot say anything about the food in the location I can comment on the hotel portion of this duel establishment. The rooms were clean for the most part, some small issues with the bathtub floor but that could hardly be helped as it was just wear and tear of an older model. The beds were comfortable and I honestly miss them after sleeping on an air mattress in my new apartment. The tv is good, sound and audio are well dated and HDMI hook ups are available. Wifi lacks compared to the other hotel near this one, sometimes I would be in the middle of a game or movie and I'd be abruptly disappointed by a lost connection notice. Everything about my stay was usually good besides the pot smoking hotel guests but management seemed to crack down on that very fast, also when we sat our towels outside our room we were told it was our responsibility to put them in the hotel's washer and dryer, not meaning to sound stuck up but im positive the employee we asked was supposed to be doing that for us. Dont worry hotel staff isn't all bad, In fact when I initially arrived here one hour too early I was allowed to sleep on the couch next to my boyfriend and given a warm cup of coffee free of charge until our room was prepared for us.

The price does not matter, it may cost more but go away pleased, my friend and I ordered two breakfasts. I ordered french toast with scrambled egg, sausage. as was the sausage. The scrambled egg was not well cooked. The hot juice, the weak coffee did not taste like black coffee ☕️ and the syrup on the toast was mixed with water to render it. My friend ordered a fried egg 🍳 with bacon 🥓 with pancakes 🥞 and it was horrible. Then they give us hot sauce, I don't know what for. They see us as Latinos and they think we're Mexicans and yes we are Latinos but our physique is very different from Mexicans, with a lot of respect. But they don't eat breakfast with spicy 🌶 sauce. I don't know where they see that. Anyway, I don't recommend it. They should improve since they have a hotel and next door they have another hotel. I know how to cook and I also cook many dishes, I know what I'm talking about. They should put a mailbox 📫 of references so that they can improve...

Food was good. Waitress was nice. Here's the problem. We were in on 2/29/2024. We were waited on promptly, received our food and everything tasted good. All was right with the world. A person in our party left a very nice tip and we were on our way. I was looking through my bank app a few days later and noticed an extra charge. The waitress had given herself an additional tip. I called to talk with the manager, but she wasn't in. I explained to the gal who answered what had happened. She was actually the gal who waited on us that day. She said that "accidentally" happens once in a while and she was very sorry. I was told the manager would call me and make it right. I have not received a call and no one there is answering the phone today. Just a heads up....if you are using a card, watch your charges. It's not so much about the money, but it's a pretty good side hustle if every few customers are "accidentally" getting added...
