Del Mar Motel — Hotel in Rosemead

I couldn't find different Motels to choose from and was way too tired to continue driving left me with no choice. When checking in there was a $20 deposit required and didn't take it as being a positive result. When opening the door I was hit with an order that I never could expect from any Motels. Instead of that musky, closed in smell there was a clean fresh aroma (I thought maybe it was left by previous occupants). When turning on the lights I was really shocked to see the total opposite of what I expected. A clean good size room with wooden floor, a sofa chair, a refrigerator behind a cupboard door that looks just like an extra desk drawer. What added to that shocking surprise was that the have Smart TV's not just regular basic flat screens with a movie channel if your lucky but high end TV access to Netflix, Amazon, Disney, YouTube, etc (a few do require having your own account). I kid you since then I've been staying here every weekend for the past 4 weeks since I originally stood here. The staff are very friendly and always make me feel welcomed. And the cemetery my parents are buried happen to be just right down the street. I believe that even if anyone who likes to graffiti or party would not want to ruin such a place this nice with very decent rates. I book it ahead of time just to make sure they are not sold out when I go there. A place that really should not be taken...

Nothing at all like the picture. Stayed for almost a week and happy to see there were no bugs in sight even though we are kinda messy. There’s no do not disturb signs to hang up so when we left for a couple hours we realized that the maid had come and cleaned which is okay but she totally told the guy at the front desk that we had our clothes and things all over the place and that our room was messy. When I went to pay the next morning the guy checking us in asked me to keep our room clean while we’re here…okay??? Like I’m the kind of person who tries to leave every room I stay in as clean as it was when I got there because I’m sure those maids go through a lot cleaning God knows what but that was so awkward and weird, why do you care about how it is while I’m in there as long as I leave it nice ? Anyway the pictures are a total scam, looks like photoshopped ai futuristic version of what they have going on…if you’re into like crime and stuff maybe this is a good spot but otherwise there are better...

Checked In & As I Went Into The Bathroom I Noticed There Was No Toilet Paper Holder Or Toilet Paper So My Fiancee Made A Trip To The Front Office,After Returning To The Room We Tried To Turn The Tv On & The Remote Wouldnt Work,Made Another Trip To The Office,While Turning On The Tv There Was A Roach Crawling On The Picture, Then As I'm Going In The Bathroom To Take A Bath Realized Their Was A Dead Roach Smashed On The Bathroom Wall...After Taking A Bath Came Out Into The Room & Their Was A Huge Puddle Of Water On The Floor,Come To Find Out There's A Patched Hole In The Middle Of The Bathtub Which Caused The Puddle & My Charger Was Sitting In It Also My UGG Boots 🤦🏾‍♀ Then We Noticed The Vent In The Bathroom Is Hanging Down From The Ceiling There Are No Batteries In The Smoke Detector That Is Also Wide Open & The Peephole Has Foil Covered Over It.For 74$ & A 20$ Cash Deposit This Is Absolutely Ridiculous & I Will Definitely Be Trying To Get A...
