O’sushi — Restaurant in South San Gabriel

First time customer here, and I really appreciated their service. The Unaju and Chirasi Bowls were so delicious.

Unaju - Very Rich, Smokey, also has a sweet-savory taste. The Eel is SO SOFT in the inside and crispy in the outside. Overall very satisfying. (Slightly disappointed with the portions of eel though, for its price. But the taste is amazing if you love Grilled Unagi/Eel)

Chirasi - All slices of fish were very rich and savory. Pretty filling. My brother shared his to me.

The chef is the same from Wahoo Chaya. So long story short- the sushi is phenomenal as it was prior. I bring my wife and son here all the time and also invite other family members. I order the a la cart cut rolls such as the the albacore roll and the yellow tail. Sometimes I will order either of them spicy. My wife loves the rainbow roll, baked mussels, and fresh oysters. My son (who is two mind you) likes the tempura udon and the rainbow roll. Yes he loves sushi. Usually our bill is around $100 including tip. If we invite others it is more. One day on my way to the Montebello Town Center, I spotted this place and knew I had to try it. Today was that day!

Walking in, the place was clean and cozy. It is small though, so I don't know how they would accomodate larger groups.

First off, I don't know where they get their sashimi, but it's the freshest I've ever had at a Japanese restaurant (and I've tried all the places in SGV and most of Little Tokyo). They also have some non rice rolls which I've never seen before.

Needless to say, I went overboard and ordered a whole bunch for myself.
