We spent three nights at Sisters on Sycamore this week (first week of January 2018). We were there with another couple--friends of ours. We stayed in the June Room while our friends stayed in the Glen Room. We were all very pleased with our stay. The June Room was very comfortable--large and clean, and it featured an electrical outlet with twin USB charging ports next to each side of the bed. The bathroom was spacious as well, and newly renovated. Plenty of light, good ventilation, and a heat lamp were some of the details. The living space was also large, with the tastefully decorated, open room separated into distinct areas using nothing but furniture. One corner had a couch and two really comfortable chairs, conducive to visiting or quiet reading. Another area has a couch and chair centered on a large TV. A gas fireplace kept the entire room cozy warm. To the right side of this fireplace was the small table hosting the fresh-baked snacks and Keurig coffee machine, as well as the table where we enjoyed three of the best breakfasts I can recall. This large room adjoins a modern kitchen where the sisters performed their culinary magic. The living area looks out over the spacious back porch and yard, where we enjoyed watching different types of wildlife each day. Jo and Jen were friendly, attentive, and gracious hosts, and their passion for making this bed & breakfast a success shows in everything they do. Their restaurant suggestion (The Brickyard in nearby Franklin) was even fantastic (I'll review that separately). And they made arrangements for us to get back into the B&B after returning quite late from an outing in Nashville. We will likely be returning to this same area soon, and when we do, I am hoping to stay here as guests of Jen and Jo at their wonderful B&B. Oh, and how could I forget Willow, their cute and playful dog? Yet another reason...
Read moreThere is NOT enough room here to express how exceptional this place/owners are!! I travel many states for business and tend to "shy" away from b&b's ( last 3 stayed in were satisfactory) as felt more uncomfortable/intrusive than "guest"..trust someone that spends alot of time in "hospitality " establishments,THIS place,is like staying with close family...Jenny & Jonna are like out of time classic TRUE hospitality Inn keeper's!! I only had 2 regrets...1) only stayed 1 night(although would have felt just as sad to leave if stayed a week) and 2)Jonna is NOT "worker" here(daughter of Jenny). It is truly sad seeing someone who obviously a perfect fit for a professional position such as here not being there full time...I TRULY WISH I could properly express how wonderful these 2 woman are in hospitality field..even after all the positive reviews Jenny has gotten, she (to my mind)is NOT away how exceptional her business is!!! Hope to...
Read moreWe were greated warmly by Jennie, our hostess. She showed us to our beautiful, spacious room with a huge private bathroom. She showed us around the beautiful property, it was like staying in the country yet the town surrounded us. There were flowers everywhere, a coy pond, and huge trees all around. There were deer and turkey roaming the back yard. She gave us a key so we could come and go at all times. Our hostess is a wonderful cook. Consulting with our daughter, she made arrangements for our 50th wedding anniversary dinner. It was delicious and desert was homegrown blackberry cobbler! Our breakfast was home cooked and elegantly served. She made us feel special. So glad we stayed 8 nights. I recommend this...
