We were staying up in Government Camp during a big storm. After it dumped a couple of feet of snow we were exploring the area. This is a beautiful trail. We weren't using our snowshoes, but the trail had been broken by other snowshoers and cross country skiers so we were able to walk carefully on the packed snow. There is a little lake a short distance from the trailhead. There was about 4 to 5 feet of snow and it was incredibly quiet and beautiful.
