Found dust in drawers etc...literally dust bunnies. No proper training for the front desk person..she asked if we wanted a smoking room. Found out we were given a non smoking room when we had an accident pop spill and needed new linens.Night desk clerk was definitely an ass in lecturing me on not smoking in the room because it was one of the best rooms which I could understand if MY further inspection of the room had not been sad cause he pissed me off he didn't even apologize for the mistake...lampshade needs replaced due to cracked top and toilet is scary..looks about to over flow also said another guest requested a different room because our window was open.. Btw nobody had even been in the spot for that room until my parents got to this place and rented that room.I had smoked one cigarette and this was not my fault as I thought the housekeeper forgot to put an ashtray in the room.Should have demanded to move but I am a better person. Just won't stay here next time on the way home...or future trips.I have pics of the dust...also took pics of the hairs left on my bed wondering if the bed was clean slept next door in my parents room for a cleaner bed even if mom said it smelled. I work as a housekeeper and this place left me smh...not Americas Best Value but...not going to say anything when I can't say something nice.Location is in Santa Rosa New Mexico.Post Script...my mother and father stayed in the next room and were bitten by...

I’m so happy I took the chance on this motel! Check-in was easy and they found my reservation quickly, the staff was very attentive and friendly. The room came out to only $73 and that’s with a $10 pet fee, it was definitely worth it. The room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable and clean with 2 blankets and 3 pillows. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, desk and chair, Tv, fast Wi-Fi, and plenty of outlets. A hot and clean shower with nice pressure, not a bug in site and the air conditioner was nice and cold and didn’t have any musky smells. Keycard was a “tap” type and worked without problems.|| The location feels really safe and it was really pleasant and quite, other than a passing train. The pictures really don’t do it justice, we also had vinyl flooring, not carpet and the windows actually latched and had a nice blackout curtain that looked new. There were a few places on the bathroom door that looked like the paint was scratched up possibly by a dog, but that’s literally the only cosmetic imperfection I found, maybe some scratches on the floor. Even the corners of the bathroom were clean. This place was 100 times better than the more expensive motel 6 I stayed in and 100 times cleaner. If we’re ever passing through again, this will be our go-to place! ||(Pics included were right before checking out, when we arrived everything was neat and beds were made perfect and plenty of towels in...

First of all, sign for the motel was hard to see and the motel is located in kind of an obscure location; missed it the first time I passed it. Secondly, upon waking up in the morning, I noticed a BLOOD STAIN in the sheets I was sleeping in. The stain was in the location of the pelvic region and had clearly been there for awhile (it was NOT mine); considering the area in which it was located I assume it may have been a menstrual blood stain. I guess I must have been too tired the night before to notice but in the morning when I saw it I was thoroughly disgusted. The sheet should have been thrown away and not washed and re-used; someone making the bed should have easily noticed it. There were also several hairs on the allegedly clean towels that were not our hair color or consistency. I tried to complain to the desk clerk when I checked out but no one was in the office and it was locked up. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again because of the nastiness of the sheets and towels. Addendum to owner's reply: There was NO fresh blood when I checked out because no one was bleeding. I have photos of the clearly dried blood. Not a fake review, I have proof I stayed there.

This is a great stop off the I 40. Whether you are doing the historic Rte 66 tour or just on a long road trip like we were. It's older, yes, but does the job after a lot of traveling. The rooms have a slight dank odor but not too bad. The room was comfortable and clean with newer fixtures, carpet and tile. Fridge and microwave and brand new large flat screen TV. Ice and soda machine too. Free WiFi and breakfast. Breakfast was simple but good, toast, muffins, cereal, waffles and coffee. Not a lot of seating but just take it back to your room. No laundry. Staff was nice and area felt safe. Super close to the blue hole and water park. Very affordable as well for the budget traveler. Totally worth a stop!
