Wow – All I can say is wow. I wish I could give this hotel 0/5 stars. I truly thought I was giving them the benefit of the doubt and taking the high road. We arrived on a Thursday night in the evening after traveling for 4 hours to get there for a friend’s wedding. We were going through the check-in process and first received keys to a room and tried to enter, but the keys didn’t work. Finally, we got the keys reprogrammed and got into the room, only to realize we received a smoking room after I had told the gentleman we needed a non-smoking room. We kindly went downstairs and asked for a different room, which they granted us, but it smelled extremely musty and like they hadn’t turned on the air conditioner in years. We were too tired and just decided to deal with it as we weren’t going to be in the room much over the next two-night stay anyways. As we were getting into bed that night, we couldn’t help but notice that we had stained sheets, something that looked like blood but continued to just go to bed at that point because it wasn’t worth the hassle. We turned on the air conditioner, it smelled horrible and just felt damp in the room but didn’t cause a fuss. We did end up asking the second night for two extra blankets, one for each bed, in hopes that we could use something a little cleaner. Fast forward to check out, we thought everything went fine, and the room was in the same condition as when we arrived, as we literally slept there and got ready quickly in the morning.
A few weeks go by, and I notice a $20 charge to my card for room damages. This charge was not included on my receipt, I received a description after calling that it was for an extra person because I only booked the room for one person, and they told me that they had explained that during check-in. They did not explain that I would be getting charged and told me I just needed to write her name down for the Fire Marshall. HAD they explained that during check in or at least included it on the receipt, this wouldn’t be as much of an issue. I am extremely disappointed after brushing our less-than-ideal stay under the rug. I will NEVER EVER recommend this hotel to anyone. You are much smarter to choose the holiday inn instead...
Read moreWe were totally disappointed right from the start. We checked in on a Sunday night for two nights. There was no one to be found at the front desk and after pressing the buzzer we waited for 5 minutes for the worker to come out of a room. The hall stinks of having too much chemical put down on the carpet. We walked into a very cold room and discovered that the heater was unplugged. The ceiling on room 114 bathroom has mould. The cracks in the floor were dirty, the shower head sprays water all over the place and the sink was heavily chipped. The bathroom heating lamp timer didn't work either. We were on a business trip and I wished we would have stayed somewhere else. There is a pool on site but the area is taped off and sign saying pool is closed. The "free" breakfast is super skimpy as well. We had to again wait for someone when we wanted to check out. Either Wyndham is letting this property run down or they are short staffed. I will gladly pay more for a motel in another town than stay in this property the next time that I am travelling...
Read moreThis House of Horror should be condemned unless you want to experience what life in Mumbai is like. On a 97ºF day with 99% humidity, there was no A/C in the lobby. The pool has "temporarily" been down for 2 years. Even if you ask for a non-smoking room, you will get one that smells like the inside of a pack of cigarillos. If you are lucky, you will get a room with air conditioning,, otherwise you will have to make do with a fan that only has one level: "hurricane." If you expect daily maid service common to motels, you're in for a disappointment. We probably did not pay enough rupees for that. What's left of their continental breakfast wouldn't be fit for a dog in Albania, let alone the continent. Do not eat any hard-boiled eggs...you do not know what year they were boiled. They used to be a decent place to stay and would be booked solid, but now the parking lot is empty. Run, don't walk, to the Holiday Inn on the other side of town. You will get an incredible room and real breakfast for the same price...
