Not sure where to begin. My husband booked us a cabin for my Birthday. We had stayed once before with my kids in cabin #3 loved it! This time was such a let down. We privately wrote the owner but never got a response back. We had cabin #11 this time. Well two nights of us rolling into each other all night as if we were sleeping on an air bed. Our backs still hurt and it’s been two days. As we were packing up to leave I looked under the bed to see what was wrong with it and sure enough the bar is completely broken. You charge $ 160+ a night for people to sleep on a cheap broken bed frame that cost maybe $60 on its own. So another part the window in our room was crack and no screen on it so we could not open it up and get some air flow, the room was hot and stuffy. There were a lot of things out dated with this place and it since my last visit has gone downhill. I know if I had a place that was bringing me income, I would take care of it and have more pride not adding cost up on your guest. They charge by the minute if you check out by 11:10 or later. You pay a cleaning fee but have to wash all the dishes before leaving to get your money back. Oh and we found out from a post they don’t change the water in the hot tub, now I’m so disgusted from learning that information. FYI you have to walk on stone which contains dirt in order to even get in the hot tub in the first place, so charging someone for dirt is wrong when you set it up in the manner you did. Finding out we couldn’t even use the kayaks until the day before our trip sucked, that was the one reason we booked with them in the first place. So a little miss leading in their part. They should at least post that in their website to inform guests it open from this time of year to whatever. Oh the shower is very small and hard trying to shave your legs in good luck. I took lots of pictures so enjoy and think for yourself and you be the judge. The pots be carful with the handle was about to fall off on me and wouldn’t want someone to burn themselves. I really was looking forward to a relaxing birthday weekend and what a let down it truly was, so that will be our last time booking a cabin with them unfortunately. I know my husband said we would let them know privately but I feel as if I don’t post this and someone else books #11 with a broken bed I would feel bad. Like I said my back is still killing me.

This was our main stay on our vacation this year, nice little cabin for the most part. We booked for three days and we weren't left enough towels for a cabin with a hot tub. The hot tub wasn't cleaned correctly but we fixed it, and they definitely need a little more chlorine use. The bathroom could have been cleaned better, some black mold in the corners of the shower stall doors. And this was in the off season, the three days we were there we didn't see any other guests or workers so that was strange. The roofs over the hot tubs were not built correctly either so you got poured on by rain every time you went in and out and the porch we were supposed to be able to relax on was drench in rain the whole time. For the price though it was a really nice place. So if your not to picky and want to sit in a hot tub for cheap go check it out.

A terrible experience. Upon arrival in the afternoon of our first day, we found the facility inappropriate for older women. The room was dank, cold, inadequate heaters, and overall poor lighting. The large rectangular room had two queen beds crammed into an unlit alcove with barely enough room to get between the beds. The bathroom was step-down through a strange, mirrored room that emerged into a funky hall-type affair that defines creepy. We immediately contacted the representative about a refund or another appropriate room. After paying over $500 for two nights (using their contactless system) we were not able to get any compensation.

I have no idea how this property gets an almost 5 star review. Where do I begin but I guess at the beginning. I was excited to spend New Year’s with my partner at this property. Upon arrival, the area was beautiful with small cabins scattered throughout the property with a small creek running throughout. The day prior to checked in, I called and spoke with Kory, who was very pleasant. I asked her a few questions whether a blow dryer was provided, which she stated a blow dryer was not available. I asked about the size of the refrigerator and whether it was a mini fridge or larger. She replied it was not a mini fridge but larger than a mini fridge. She also stated a Keurig was provided for each room. She also stated if we needed anything to text to her number (425) 757-6857 and she would have extra towels or anything we needed taken care of. That's when ALL communication stopped.

When we entered the room we noted the fridge was a mini fridge, no Keurig, and the springs in the mattress were broken. My partner sent Kory numerous text messages; to which he never received a response. He also emailed her and still no response. Being 66 years old, I have traveled many places and stayed at numerous cabins and hotels, and I have never encountered such unprofessional customer service in my life. There is no office on this property and when you call the number provided (360) 490-8168, the recording states the number has either been disconnected or is no longer in service. My main concern was what to do in case of an emergency. We will never stay at this property nor recommend it to anyone. At a charge of $150 per night, this was THE worst experience I have ever encountered in my travels. I was hoping for a fun and enjoyable New Year’s Eve, but honestly, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve encountered. This is an amazing property and has great potential.

Update: 1/2 - Hair dryer was found behind the towels in the drawer. We still have not received a response from anyone regarding our numerous text messages, phone calls, and emails.

This property is apparently owned by an investment company. After speaking with numerous community members, the community is disappointed in the turn for the worst this property has taken. As for guests trying to plan for a relaxing get-away, I would steer clear of this establishment and look for something where people are actually concerned about your stay and respond to your questions. Numerous housekeepers also stated that this was normal and apologized for the trouble we were having. We are unable to get in touch with anyone to reimburse us for the firewood we purchased but never used because we didn't know which firepit to use. Please stay clear if you are looking for professional customer service. The only people here that were helpful and pleasant were the...

My husband and I booked our stay at the Robin Hood Village Resort based on the Reviews & Photos on TripAdvisor. |We were very disappointed. |Many of the reviews applauded the Fantastic Restaurant and Pub, the Staff, and the Food. |We prepaid for our reservation. |To our surprise, upon arrival, we learned there is no longer a restaurant or pub on the premises In fact, my husband even commented that there wasn't even an ice machine, a soda machine, or snack machine. |We stayed in Historic Cabin #2. We quickly noted that the lock on the door seemed like it had been tampered with. |The interior of the cabin could definitely use updating; particularly the flooring and the very small bathroom. |Both the couch and the bed were very uncomfortable. Neither my husband nor I slept well. |That being said, the room was clean, the towels were fresh, and the wall A/C was efficient. |The stone fireplace and the woodwork on the ceiling above the bed were the few highlights. |On a positive note, the grounds were well maintained, and did resemble Sherwood Forest. We enjoyed walking the trail, skipping stones in the creek, and playing Corn Hole. |After our first night, of little sleep, I filled out the Questionnaire that was on the table. I decided to take it to the Office. I found a staff member doing laundry, and was going to leave it with her. She directed me to Heather, the manager. We had a 5 minute conversation. I told her that my husband and I were looking for a place by the water where we could return to once or twice a year to just relax and unwind. I specifically told her the bed was very uncomfortable and that we were very disappointed that there was no restaurant or pub on site. And that in fact, this was not what we would consider to be a Resort at all. |Heather apologized and said that those facilities had closed during Covid. And then she asked if we were checking out. |I told Heather that, "No, we had booked the Cottage for 2 more nights." She seemed surprised, and apologized again. |She said that she was going to go to the office and check her books to see if she could move us to one of the other cabins. I told her that we would appreciate that; and would like to check out what else was available. She said that she would look at the books, and then come knock on our door. |We never saw or heard from her again for the rest of our 3-Day stay. |We will not return, nor recommend Robin Hood Village Resort to our...
