I have no idea how this property gets an almost 5 star review. Where do I begin but I guess at the beginning. I was excited to spend New Year’s with my partner at this property. Upon arrival, the area was beautiful with small cabins scattered throughout the property with a small creek running throughout. The day prior to checked in, I called and spoke with Kory, who was very pleasant. I asked her a few questions whether a blow dryer was provided, which she stated a blow dryer was not available. I asked about the size of the refrigerator and whether it was a mini fridge or larger. She replied it was not a mini fridge but larger than a mini fridge. She also stated a Keurig was provided for each room. She also stated if we needed anything to text to her number (425) 757-6857 and she would have extra towels or anything we needed taken care of. That's when ALL communication stopped.
When we entered the room we noted the fridge was a mini fridge, no Keurig, and the springs in the mattress were broken. My partner sent Kory numerous text messages; to which he never received a response. He also emailed her and still no response. Being 66 years old, I have traveled many places and stayed at numerous cabins and hotels, and I have never encountered such unprofessional customer service in my life. There is no office on this property and when you call the number provided (360) 490-8168, the recording states the number has either been disconnected or is no longer in service. My main concern was what to do in case of an emergency. We will never stay at this property nor recommend it to anyone. At a charge of $150 per night, this was THE worst experience I have ever encountered in my travels. I was hoping for a fun and enjoyable New Year’s Eve, but honestly, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve encountered. This is an amazing property and has great potential.
Update: 1/2 - Hair dryer was found behind the towels in the drawer. We still have not received a response from anyone regarding our numerous text messages, phone calls, and emails.
This property is apparently owned by an investment company. After speaking with numerous community members, the community is disappointed in the turn for the worst this property has taken. As for guests trying to plan for a relaxing get-away, I would steer clear of this establishment and look for something where people are actually concerned about your stay and respond to your questions. Numerous housekeepers also stated that this was normal and apologized for the trouble we were having. We are unable to get in touch with anyone to reimburse us for the firewood we purchased but never used because we didn't know which firepit to use. Please stay clear if you are looking for professional customer service. The only people here that were helpful and pleasant were the...

I decided to take it to the Office. I found a staff member doing laundry, and was going to leave it with her. She directed me to Heather, the manager. We had a 5 minute conversation. I told her that my husband and I were looking for a place by the water where we could return to once or twice a year to just relax and unwind.
