1/2 star— at best.

I wouldn’t recommend getting married here. Luckily we made the best out of the situation, but the rehearsal dinner was a nightmare, thanks to a gal named Melissa, who is apparently the GM, and her disrespectful waiter, Chase. Chase is an immature little kid who decided to ask a plethora of people to buy weed from him, whom happened to be part of my wedding. He also had his AirPods in while serving, no wonder why the maid of honor didn’t get the correct order during the rehearsal. And it came 50 minutes late after everybody else’s food. When my wife confronted Melissa, she was extremely rude and condoned the horrible service. No apology. No amends. We waited an hour to get our orders in. We waited another hour to get our food. Two people waited even longer. One girl didn’t eat because it was the wrong order. If anybody encounters these two, I would just leave the venue, or request somebody else. Horrible hospitality on their part. After the wedding was over, we needed to pick up some flowers and decor inside the ball room— same guy as mentioned, says “I don’t know what to tell ya, I can’t find them.” Even though nobody else was in there besides the little group of boys who clean. When the bridal party was at the head table, we were supposed to be served our food— when confronted about the situation, whoever in charge said, “we know nothing about that”. Horrible communication. If we didn’t pay a down payment, we would’ve 110% conducted business and our wedding elsewhere. Our own wedding planner wasn’t even present at our wedding to make sure behind the scenes went okay. Instead the awful GM decided to mess it all up. If you want a horribly planned wedding, if you want your food taken away early at the reception, if you want warm keg beer, waiters who offer your guests weed, groomsmen were supposed to get early check-in to get ready, that obviously didn’t happen, if you want your rehearsal dinner 2 hours late, or your maid of honor doesn’t get her food because it’s the completely wrong order, if you want to be put into a room not even near Crave, without a bartender, without drink orders, then absolutely book here for your wedding. Otherwise Sioux City has A LOT better to offer, I’m sure. Stoney Creek, Warrior Hotel, even Hard Rock has to be better.

In other areas, the staff was very respectful. The front desk lady at 2AM, and the security gentleman were top notch. Hats...

Service reviews at 4.3 must have come from folks that enjoyed the outstanding service from the night shift staff. They are great. The day shift staff has forgotten it is in the service business. Rude, unhelpful and oblivious to the definition of service is what you'll find if you tangle with the day manager N* . She literally called and told my guest to leave the room, immediately at 12 noon. My guest asked to have the stay extended while I was in a meeting that ran over 30 minutes, the front desk manager said no you have to leave, your check out is now and hung up. My guest then went to the front desk to plead her case it was just a few minutes and I'd be back and we would head home. I wanted to shower before attacking the 7 hour trek. That didnt happen as they told my guest she had to leave, check out was now....noon, 12 pm. Upon my arrival minutes after my guest had packed and left the lot upset and went to fuel the vehicle and was headed back to get me. I entered the hotel calling my guest to see where she was, to find out the hotel told her she couldnt extend her stay. I then approached the front desk to ask what happened. I was greeted by a nice lady, I asked why did you kick my friend out. She showed me a paper and said only can have these 4 late stays, all else have to go according to my manager. I asked who and what determines that, she started to answer, but the phone was ringing and an upset manager appears from behind a closed door, furious, puts the call on hold and says whats the problem. To which I replied you are the problem apparently. She then lied and said nothing like that happened. Well needless to say, I did not get a shower. My partners company used this hotel A LOT in the past. My company has used this hotel ALOT. This activity just cost you my business. Im not sure about my partners company, but they wont be excited to hear the service that wasnt provided. I hope someone reviews the management for days before they instill bad habits on to nice people and turn the struggling hotel into a vacant hotel, it may be too late based on the open spaces I've notice that have become more and more open in the last 12...

I have had poor experiences with hotels in the past but have never felt compelled to write a review…until last night.||To say it was a poor experience would be an absolute understatement. If I had to describe our experience in one word, it would be HORRIFIC. ||The first thing we noticed when we walked in was a half-full Pepsi can sitting on a shelf. We then instantly noticed red stains everywhere. It appeared there was no attempt made to clean the stains at all. ||Moving into the bathroom, the rubber baseboard under the sink had completely fallen off. When pulling the shower curtain back, there were two random black hairs in the tub. ||The shades in our room did not close so we had a street light beaming into our room all night. Once daylight hit (we checked in after 9pm) we noticed crumbs and what appeared to be food remnants every few feet. The carpet was so filthy we wouldn’t allow the kids to walk barefoot…their socks were brown by the time they took them off. Absolutely nothing topped what we saw next…the too half of a rotten strawberry in the corner (in the photos). ||I have stayed at some not so great hotels…but they were at least clean. This was beyond unclean…it was unsanitary. When we complained to the front desk, the wonderful woman offered to come clean the room…but we knew this was something a quick 15-minute cleaning couldn’t fix…this room needed a deep clean…the likes of which it probably has never seen. When we asked for a manager, we were told there isn’t one on site for the weekend.||There was nowhere to go last night as every hotel was sold out. At 4am I searched one last time for another place to stay…we got SO lucky and snagged the last room at the Warrior Hotel…a VASTLY different experience!||While the hotel didn’t not charge us a cancellation for checking out today (a day early), we were still charged over $300 for last night which is absolutely appalling considering the deplorable conditions in our room.||Stay far far away if you’re looking for a clean place to stay. This is...

This property is right on the riverfront next to the Iowa Welcome Center (walkable) and just downright gorgeous and well kept. The staff was amazing and friendly, the entire experience was just magical when I saw the amazing sunrise right over the river this morning. It's accessible to a lot of interesting places to see and experience too! #tiktokgostay #hotelreviews #hilton #siouxcity #riverfront

Wow. This hotel does a spectacular job. The staff is extremely friendly. I can say that I and my plus one will miss this hotel dearly. The crave employees are wonderful. The restaurant is not only very good because of the food. It is good because they have a extraordinary staff who truly does care. I will miss going to breakfast, saying hi to the front desk, and seeing our favorite waiter at dinner. I was genuinely sad to leave after my stay. The one star reviews are simply people who did not take the time to appreciate and really care to engage with staff. Or step back and take a good look at this beautiful hotel and it’s amazing sites. If they did they would find a true treasure trove. To all of the staff thank you for making a difference. You made my stay all the more better. Five emojis that describe my experience are… 😁🤩🏨🧑🏼‍🍳❤️

This is a nice hotel with a restaurant attached. The parking lot was full when I arrived at 4:30pm. I was greeted at the front desk by a very helpful worker. She checked me in right away and gave me a room on the second floor. The first thing I noticed when walking in was there was a smell of maple syrup in the air, and it was throughout the room. After a while I didn't notice the smell anymore, but when I left for dinner and came back, I smelled it again. It wasn't offensive, just weird. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also clean, but didn't have any shampoo or conditioner, only (2) bars of soap, (2) make-up removers and lotion. This room has an in-room coffee maker and was stocked with coffees and teas and all the things you need in the morning. Overall, this is a nice hotel, and I would stay here again.
