This was not a planned camping trip. Just a quick stopover in La Grange so I knew any camp ground nearby the 3 lakes in this area would be better than cheap motel. Was really impressed with the camp ground A. Lots of good campsites on the lake side, though the water has retreated so much so be careful with the slopes. The interior campsites also have great views of the lake too. Got here on Monday of mid March and had the whole park to ourselves. The rates was also very budget friendly. There is also a swimming lagoon and house boat also available for rent. Lots of bathrooms through out the campground. Could use some updating when budget permits. I would recommend friends and family to camp here.

They charge 40$ per car per night and this is not mentioned anywhere on their website nor advertised at the location. When questioned about this they are upfront rude to answer any questions. This amount is ridiculous after paying for the camp grounds. The swimming lagoon is too small for such a huge campground. It’s usually full. Toilets and showers are not very clean for the amount they charge. It’s definitely a boaters paradise but do not recommend for camping overnight.

Good for camping but very hot in summer. Luckily we have pond near camp sites so can be relaxing. Parking available but only few spots were free. Good place for group camping. Jet ski is very interesting here and boating also available here.

First off 5 ⭐ to the lake, I've been coming to don Pedro for along long time, it's one if not my favorite lake in CA, this summer I camped at DP 3 times, and all 3 times was disappointed, one with my fellow campers, be cool and clean up your site before you leave, it's courtesy and kinda a rule of thumb to do that, second to the Turlock Water District that I think it's been running DP for the last few years, since then the prices for all have gone up, yet not once did they cleaned up the restrooms or empty the trash, they were needles to say disgusting, the garbage dumpsters were never empty out therefore over flowing with garbage outside of them, they should check each camo site before we check in to make sure it's ready to go, so we don't hshe to cleaned up before we even set up, they took away the little shop store they had ok Flemming Meadows, liie i said I'd you oay more you shoiod get more, not the opposite, it's run and...

Absolutely love this lake/campground . Boat launch is wide and easy . The team working here are extremely nice and friendly. While camping, I suggest, if you have a boat, or plan on enjoying the lake from the shore ....head near the A camp site. There are many places to hang out comfortable. I advise you to bring a shaded pop up tarp . Wallmart is tour beat bet. Bring lots of water, sunscreen, and even blow up floaties to lounge on . Kayaking is allowed as well. I tried for the first time and it was awesome, fun and very relaxing. Of course kayaking is allowed in the No WakeZone area. If you plan on Wakeboarding, Wake-surfing, tubing,or skiing... Make Sure that... You have your Skier Down Flag!!!! The boat markets on the East and West shores do have them for sale ! Safety First Always !! Follow me on my page via FaceBook, and Google. #Safefamilylakefun

We have been camping at Don Pedro lake for the past 17 years. The first time we went we felt in love with the campground. We notice that after 2020 it started to change prices went up the bathroom are more dirty. They don’t clean them like before. We always go to our annual camping in august. We stay for a whole week and we notice that even though there is not a lot of people on the campground they never come an clean the bathroom or the showers. The staff are rude especially the people at the entrance. You ask them a question nicely and they respond to you with an attitude. Who ever read this talk to your stuff and make sure they keep those bathrooms clean and not over flow like the bathroom at...
