No elevators and no A/C which might not be an issue but for visitors from TX who are used to A/C, this was not a welcome situation. Unit 5D We knew there was no air but thought the temps would be doable, but they are not. Our rooms were very warm when we went to bed. There is a ceiling fan in 2nd Bedroom but it's super noisy. on any speed. The box fan given to us is not restful to listen to. Windows in 2nd BR open only 3" and afforded very little fresh air. We are on the 2nd floor. We hear stomping around in the unit above us well past quiet hours. Weed being smoked every dinner hour by the people playing corn hole in the parking lot, the smell would waft into our room thru our open door, which was the only way we could cool off our room at this hour. Parking tight at 100% capacity, today we had to park down the street and walk up the incline. Unit walls and ceilings are paper thin, people shouting on the balcony, Staff unknowledgeable. We called the front desk because we could not get our ceiling fan to work. The front desk girl said slide the switch all the way to the top, which we did but did not work. We had to get the maintenance guy and he said "she doesn't know anything". The switches are installed upside down, he said, which is why we couldn't get our fan to work. The fan in my room is really noisy. It clicks all night long. I was given a box fan too so I turn that on to drown out the stomping and fan clicking, but then it's too cold. Even at low speed the box fan is too fast and it is not restful to have on all night. I would never stay here again, it is not up to my standards whatsoever. The unit has a sofa and one arm chair. A dining table with 4 chairs, a counter with 2 stools. 1 full bath, one half bath. A master bedroom which is very small. The furnishings are ok. Bed is comfy but not super comfy. I'm in the guest room with 2 twin beds which are extremely small. The floors have warm spots on them, especially the kitchen and half bath which does not help in August. The fireplace pilot light can not be turned off and it adds a substantial amount of warmth in the living room. We put the one airm chair in front of the fireplace to absorb the warmth and it helps. The lamps have usb slots for charging, which is nice. I really would never stay here again, it is too noisy and not restful in the evenings when all the units come back for the evening and have no consideration for others. There is nothing up here for children, no playground, no nothing. There is plenty of cookware and silverware, dishes, etc. Bring cooking spray. The non stick pans are not non stick. It is only about a 10 min drive into Lake Tahoe which is nice. If you can, get a 3rd floor unit, and please walk on tiptoe for those in the unit under you. They will hear you no matter what though. Anyway. Lake Tahoe is beautiful and there is no place like it. Just pick a better place to...

We all know what this is, yet another tactic to sell more points.||||The worst part of our stay- I booked 3 condos, each has two bedrooms for a ski vacation with grandchildren. Amenities at this location include a hot tub, swimming pool and game room. All of which were closed. The management excuse is COVID. This is Nevada, and every other hotel/condo is open. They said "We need to figure out how we will open it." So, I went back in the next day to give them a way to open. Basically what every other hotel/condo is doing. Get a clip board and have families sign up for a allotted time. Have 15 minutes between appt to sanitize. I have gone back into the office several times and was flatly told this AM, "No, we are NOT opening it". I have called Worldmark and they have filed a claim. However, they tell me to call back after I check out so that they can address the management. ???What???||I have paid with my points for three condos, with no amenities. Is this fair...NO!||Condo- my condo has a huge tear in the sofa arm. The spices that are usually in the cabinet(a variety) are 3 red pepper and 2 parsley. No pizza cutter.||The parking is first come first serve, and I was told there might be room for my car after 4 when the cleaning/maintenance crew leaves. What?||The room below us was smoking marijuana in their room continuously, starting 7-8 AM in the morning. When we went to management, they did not address this issue, they told us that they thought the perpetrators were checking out later. They obviously knew about this issue and di...
Read moreAfter completing my stay, I re-Googled this place after seeing so many negative reviews. It seems there are so many people that give negative reviews for reasons that are petty and do to their own LACK of research & asking questions. Let's be clear, this is a timeshare in the mountains, not the Ritz in Paris. ||All of the following are FULLY disclosed on their website: no elevator (highest floor is 3 stories), no air conditioning (fans provided), no daily housekeeping (without additional fees -per usual for any timeshare people), wifi for a fee. All disclosed!||Next, regarding any negative comments about location or construction, let's be clear. Look at a map! It's a few miles up from the lake. Very convenient location that puts you right in South lake area with casinos, restaurants, etc. You're on the top of a ridge and just 8 miles (about 15 min) down to the Eastern side (town of Minden). ||As usual in the Tahoe area there are road repairs when the weather permits (no snow). The road up is VERY easy to navigate. Comments about curves or inaccessibility are ridiculous. Off the main road it's 2 blocks until the unit. There was construction and the detours literally take you a block or two down and around. Like any other detour. Learn to drive & navigate people. ||The complaints are honestly ridiculous. ||This place is clean, quiet, comfortable beds, working kitchen with everything you need, toiletries, ice maker, cable, free parking. If you want to stay close to the pool/spa ask for building C or D (check in was fast and easy, as was check out). The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. ||I'd stay here again and recommend. Quit knocking places down over your inability to do research on location & what a...
