We spent a week at The Ridge Sierra. It is a timeshare that is also rented out. There are two locations fairly close to each other. My stay was at the 299 Olympic Court location. Room 130. Stair climbing was minimal. No elevators in these units. This was a 2 bedroom that sleeps 6. One queen bed. Two twin beds in the 2nd room. Hide a bed sofa for the other 2 persons. This unit has been updated so is very nice. Check-in is by a computer screen. It was no problem. They issue you your key and parking pass. Parking was very close to the unit. It has 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a tub with jets. Fully stocked kitchen. The stove is a convection / microwave combination so a little small compared to a full size oven. It only has a round glass plate like a microwave and they don't supply anything else to bake on. So you might want to bring something for that if needed. We usually eat out for lunch, so it worked for us. Hairdryer provided and a night light. The Internet worked good. There were not too many people here, so that's probably why. Verizon 4G worked great here. Our stay was just before the first good snow. So in a transition of seasons. I would definitely stay here again. Everything is setup for 6. 6 chairs at the table, 6 of plates, silverware, etc. Electric cooktop stove. There is a hot tub with jets on the top floor. Your room key gives you entrance. They have an agreement with The Ridge Tahoe a much larger Resort nearby so you can use their tennis court, health club, etc. It is a 5 minute drive away. You use your parking pass to gain entrance. If you have any questions, you dial 0 on the phone in the unit and someone is available 24 hours a day to help you. The instructions for almost everything are online. So when you get in the unit there is a card with a QR code on the Kitchen Counter. When you bring that up, it has the TV channels and answers to most questions. The location is very close to Heavenly Valley Stagecoach lift. There is a shuttle bus to pick you up or you can drive there in less than 5 minutes. South Lake Tahoe is about 15 minutes down the hill. Lot of things to do there. Evening shows, casinos, restaurants, etc. We loved staying here and would definitely...

We recently stayed here in one of the nicest condo rentals I've ever been in. A HUGE tub style spa, easily sitting at least two people with wood railing around it and a shower above it stole the show in the 2nd bathroom. Master bath was really nice also, with just a shower in it. Very large master bedroom with plenty of drawer and closet space. The kids had their own beds in their own room down the hall.
The kitchen and dining room were the focus of much of our trip, with almost everything we needed to cook crazy meals. Not the usual when we're on the road to have a full kitchen and then a nice table to set and eat at after cooking.
The living room was nice and had plenty of seating. Also a small deck out back overlooking the valley. There was plenty of parking out front too. I would definitely come back again. This is my third time staying at Ridge Sierra with friends/family/loved ones. :) It's a great getaway and not far from home.
Unfortunately on this trip, the roof hot tubs and BBQs were out of service. Not just on our building, but the one next to it also. So we bathed in the room's romantic tub, without the kids, which was only a little disappointing. ;) Would like to see all amenities working, even though you still are allowed access to the larger resort up the road, with their spa and heated pool.
We played pool here, and at the Ridge at Tahoe. Unfortunately, on the Ridge Sierra campus the sticks were very, very poor quality and one had been snapped in half. Lots of soda and candy wrappers left behind. Someone's children behaving badly - not cool.
Id definitely come back, but we really love going all over Tahoe and staying and boarding different places, so it might not be a while. Though, we do already have a summer trip planned here - and we really looking...
