This is a very fine place, and an ancient one that the owners, Mary and Dave, have maintained, upgraded, and decorated wonderfully. Everything they have done with the place is true to the style of the original building, which dates from the 18th century. Snow was expected and Mary called us the day before we were to arrive to offer to let us arrive early so we would be safe. How nice to think someone cares that much! The place was very nice and I slept so well. They made two kinds of coffee for us, though we didn't ask for it (I like mine stronger than my husband) and made fresh blueberry pancakes.
