Stayed in the "3 Bed Suite" for two nights with two friends while geocaching in the area, and loved it so much that we booked another night a week later on our return-home trip from Montana back to Vancouver, BC. The 2 queens and 1 king were all very comfortable and the room and washroom were very clean. The AC worked just fine, and we used the full-size fridge and microwave for breakfasts and dinners, and coffeemaker both for coffee and as a kettle. Bring earplugs, as it is located quite close to the rail line, and those trains start up at dawn. Never met the staff, as we arrived each night after their 7 PM office-closing, and were gone each morning before 7 AM opening, but they communicated very quickly via email and voice, letting us know how to access our keys in the lockbox. Nearby gas station had decent coffee. Be aware that the hot-water in the shower can take a few minutes to start, but once it does, it is hot and plentiful.

We came in super late and called the number on the office door. I'm sure we got this poor guy out of bed, but he was positive and welcoming anyway. Got us set up in a room that was way more comfortable than I'd expected. It was a pet friendly room that had a very faint odor but nothing overly offensive. The AC worked great, the fridge was large, the room felt clean despite the previously mentioned faint odor, and the bed was pretty comfortable. Those who don't care for a softer mattress may not appreciate it, but I was comfy. We would definitely return if our travels brought us back to the area. Thanks so much!

Sick of spending $150+ for just a clean place to sleep and shower? And, they don't even have a friendly staff? This place is NOT that. It's perfect! Retro, rustic decor, clean rooms. Pet friendly. They are problem solvers - finding what you need and providing what they can. (example - travelers were showing up hungry, needing snacks, so the manager, Raymond, installed snacks and light meals available for GROCERY STORE PRICES!) laundry, dump station for good price. Wi-Fi. Grassy picnic area is shady and quiet. The town of Sprague is quaint and Mayberry-like. Train tracks and old station.

Nice place to stay for the night, either if working nearby, or just as a getaway. At first, this might look like a century-old motel, but on second glance - from the siding outside to the sheetrock inside, it's either new construction or completely renovated. Spacious rooms, like another piece of furniture (or 2 - table and chair) might be worked into the layout.

Free pod coffee and energy bars in the mornings. Neat little yard to the side, for dogs, kids, and a picnic table. RV park wraps around the back - some are long-term, with insulation under their RVs. A few of these have windows that look into your window, above the blinds (I think, my stay was a few weeks ago), but they usually keep these closed.

My room was unique (or 1 of 2) with a code instead of a key - this made me worried that someone might guess the code, but other guests were jealous, so maybe I'm oversensitive.

On my 2nd or 3rd night, someone had walked in at 3am or so - he said his car had broken down on the highway, and was trying to rent a room, but couldn't get an answer from the office phone.

There's not a lot to do in Sprague, but the one mile-long sidewalk in the town does go in front of the motel, so you can easily walk to the grocery store about 1/3 of a mile away. Also there's a small restaurant and a gas station a few blocks away. But it's great for train lovers. This location has numerous trains go by just across the street, throughout the day and night. They have to blow their horns right outside the motel, as it's a couple blocks from the...

I stayed here before in 2018 and it was at least being half-assed run. I came back to stay in 2021 and the place has gone to pot. Weeds everywhere and dead grass, fences are down and the place looks abandoned. Worst part of this place is the electrical cannot handle the rv units. I am a 50 amp unit in a 30 amp space and I am not even able to run a fan and my ac at the same time. Even just running the ac in 113 temp with nothing else going causes the power to go off and management is awol||I called 25 times in a one hour period and they did not not answer, return calls or respond. Nobody in office or in park that was in charge. I had to take my dogs that were going into heat distress without AC for a car ride in 113 temp to just have ac on them. When I finally reached the office they had a very who gives a damn attitude- we will fix it sometime soon- was the response. ||UN-BE-LIVE-ABLE!!! ||There is no regard for the health and safety of the people paying to rent a space here- if I was at work my dogs would have been dead before I got home.||DO NOT RENT HERE- it is not worth risking the health or safety of your family or your pets to stay in an RV space where the owners do not monitor their property, answer the phone or care that their park is tripping power all the time. My unit is not flipping a breaker- this is the park and they know it and take no...
