We live in the next town and wanted to check out the new hotel before we recommended it to visiting family and friends. Three couples rode by boat on Lake Minnetonka and parked at the hotels dock for the night. (Very nice boat dock guys) We checked into a corner king suite. The room was large and lovely. We had a big bath with separate toilet. Our bedroom was decorated in white, tan and light wood. The bed was very comfortable. The best part of the room was our view of the lake from our large balcony that comfortably held all six of us at happy hour. One couple had a regular suite with lake balcony. This room was a bit smaller without a separate toilet but otherwise identical. The last couple had a room overlooking the parking lot. This room was a match of ours at nearly half the cost. So, if you just want a place to lay your head or it is winter, this room could save you money. We ate dinner and breakfast the next morning at the restaurant which was very good. The chef gets in early and the donuts are baked fresh each day. The beach is raked and nice for kids to play. The outdoor deck area has seating and a view. We have stayed at the Landings in Wayzata which is about the only other Lake Minnetonka lodging option and while it is very cute and the town of Wayzata is wonderful, we preferred this hotel room and its proximity to the water. We are thrilled to have another option on the Lake! I recommend the hotel! It would be a fun spot...

From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming. The decor throughout was beautiful, especially the bright and airy common spaces and the modern, marble-tiled bathrooms.
We loved the laid-back, beachy atmosphere with thoughtful touches everywhere from bikes by the water to cozy outdoor seating areas and wooden swings overlooking the lake.
The food was fantastic too, especially the decadent French toast we enjoyed for brunch and fresh donuts for the little guy in the morning.
This hotel made our temporary stay feel like a relaxing vacation. Thank you for hosting us so graciously, everything about this place was absolutely perfect.

Read moreEasy to get to, and they have a generous parking lot so parking was easy to find (which can be hard in the Minnetonka area sometimes). We interacted with several members of their staff while there over a last couple of times, and WOW, everyone was so welcoming and personable. The rooms were very clean, well designed, spacious and comfy. The balcony has 10/10 views of the lake and you can hear the loons from there which was cool. The restaurant has a variety of dishes/drinks to choose from, and it was fun seeing they have a giant wall of herbs they are growing for their food dishes/drink garnishes. Food came in a timely manner, and was good. Will...
