Would not recommend. We met with Gwen March 1st to discuss our vision and ideas for our wedding arrangements. At the beginning of our appointment, I showed her a few inspiration photos, loudly and abruptly she says “Those are fake!” I show another photo, “that’s fake!” I was a bit taken aback and thought it was a bit rude. She could have explained that the flowers in the photo were fake so when using real flowers, the options would be limited and not exactly like that. Any explanation would’ve been appreciated. Anyways, I decided to move past that as it wasn’t a big deal, just off putting. At the end of the appointment she said she would create some mock presentations and email them to me in the next week or so. On March 8th she emailed and sent images. They were not what I envisioned so I nicely explained things I wanted different and sent some further photos. She stated she saw what I meant and said she would have some new ideas to me by tomorrow.

On March 24th, I still had not heard anything from Gwen, which was more than okay, I understand things take time. But I wanted to make one change as far as what type of arrangement we were doing so I sent an email. She then responds on March 27th and says she has been super sick with the flu and the changes I requested are not simple and she has to completely refigure everything. Tell her no worries, feel better that’s terrible being sick.

Fast forward to May 2nd and I had heard nothing from Gwen. At that point we decided to go with a different florist because our wedding date is quickly approaching. I let Gwen know that we appreciated her time and that we were going a different route with our flowers. Still received zero

STUNNING - Gwen & Bayside wowed us again!!

Gwen did an outstanding job with the flowers for my dad's memorial a few years ago. My dad was a master gardener and Gwen is too so I trusted her. She did such a phenomenal job with those arrangements, I knew I wanted her to do the flowers for my surprise wedding reception this summer.

I spoke with Gwen on the phone and told her I wanted to order flowers for a wedding reception after our surprise elopement. My bridal bouquet was a single, light pink peony and I asked her to incorporate something similar into the reception flowers. I didn't have any other ideas, but I told her I was going to decorate the tables with crystals and rock candle holders.

Gwen asked how many tables we would have and for other details about the space. She suggested low arrangements for the dining tables, floating arrangements for the high tops and taller arrangements for the buffet. They were all fantastic!

Our guests could not stop telling us how lovely the flowers were. The caterer, bartender and host of the event also said they had never seen such gorgeous flowers...

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed. The first image is what I selected online, it's called, "the stunning beauty." The second picture was their delivery. The website wrote, "We will add more blooms and select the highest quality flowers we offer in this style" when I picked the premium version, proof of purchase attached. Judge for yourselves. Do the images attached look anything alike or even approximate. 1) Maybe this was a bad picture, but it looks they didn't spend more than 15 minutes on the arrangement. I had to crop the picture short because some leaves stick out more than double the width of the vase. 2) They promised more flowers in the premium version. If I were to advise, don't order online, go to the store, and pick out the arrangements yourselves. Anyway, just my two cents. I still gave three stars for the following reasons:

+1 star for on-time delivery +1 star for keeping my request for social distancing +1 star for doing the job
