We were very disappointed in our stay here. Stayed in unit 202. We were told we only had three steps up to our cottage, but we ended up having several steps to go down. As soon as we walked in the room smelled heavily of the fireplace and an undertone of cigarettes. Airfreshner did nothing and the smell actually made our daughter ill. All of the dining chairs were turned over on the table and some of our towels were left in a plastic bag on a shelf. The floors do not get swept, as there was debris in the bathroom and kitchen. I will say the sheets and towels were clean and the bed was somewhat comfortable. Bring your own pillows, as these were flat. I did talk to someone at the desk about the smell and for some help, but was met with disinterest and no assistance or offer to move rooms. Read moreMy wife and I stayed 2 nights in cottage 207 at the very end of the road. It was very peaceful there and we enjoyed our stay. The interior has recently been remodeled and was impressive! However, the 2 queen size beds were very soft (old I'm guessing) and uncomfortable. The bathroom ceiling fan was old and noisy yet the rest of the bathroom was clean and new.
