I cannot say enough amazing things about this place! It's like your own little house with a fully stocked kitchen, 2 beds, spotless place, and regular cleaning by Ms. Dolores and her adult son, Justin. They both work SOOOOO hard to make sure that you have everything you need and you are satisfied. There is a laundry room, they come to clean your lodge twice a week, and it is dog-friendly! Most of the people that stay there are traveling workers and everyone respects noise and space. They have weekly and monthly rates. Dolores is just so wonderful! We met our newest addition here at the lodge- a new puppy from Dolores' farm, Mr. Henry Ford. Read moreThis was a great little place for an overnight while traveling to San Antonio. There are just 18 units and they are individual little cabins. The cabin was quite nice and very clean. Two beds, a full size fridge, sink, dishes, shower, and the usual hotel room amenities. We were going to arrive late and it was clearly the easiest late check in ever, but if you are going to be late, be sure to call and make arrangements. The office was very nice and although it did not include a breakfast it was totally worth it. We plan to go back and explore the local area and on to San Angelo, which is just about 40 miles away.
