Was working in area and hungry, saw DQ but only sat in partlot hoping to Google something better.Saw the Ranch Hand was up the street. Saw the dinner special fried chicken mashed potatoes salad bar $12.........sold on that. Service was great , food was great. Crispy chicken like homemade. Saved room for desert. The pecan pie staring at me.. Enjoyed the old building turned cafe. Perfect small town , down home cooking in a friendly atmosphere. Will be again for sure when working...

3rd time here, very yummy great prices on daily specials and the quality and quantity of the food is amazing. We will definitely be returning again. We understand when they are closed because of staffing issue. I'm not going to dock them for that. Issues happen. We luckily are some that can drive by and see if they are open. Call first and see if they are honoring their true hours for the day. Drove an extra hour from Midland to try it for lunch. Google and the sign on the door says till 2pm.
