Beware if you are a novice XC skier. The “green” trail you start on has hills, and not just short straight ones. I can see this being a great place for people with experience, but as someone who’s a newbie with only one lesson under her belt and a few flat greens behind her...I found the “easy” trails daunting and unfairly rated. I will say that the trails were well groomed and for the most part, well marked. However, the trail “cross cut 2” to get to what I was told was super easy stuff, eluded me...as both coming and going I saw signs that it was coming up...but never saw the actual trail itself marked. Other than that... there were signs everywhere marking trails, and it looks like the place as a whole takes great pride in keeping it up and ready for use. My goal in rating and writing this review is simply to prevent other novice skiers from making the same mistake I did in coming here, hoping for what I thought would be mostly flats. I would recommend Grafton Trails & Outdoor Center for the novice. Both the Strider and Fox Trot Loop are flat with beautiful scenery all around. Hope this...
