For a one star hotel, 10/10, would recommend. The place is really dated, obviously. That said, our stay was perfect.
The lady who checked me in was very friendly and welcoming.
We were in room 9, and it was clean and things worked. No bugs, no hairs, no mold. Our room had a TV (which my kids didn’t like because it didn’t have YouTube haha), a microwave (that we didn’t use), and a mini-fridge that kept our stuff very cold, borderline icy. The bed was comfortable enough. The shower you have to pull out the handle and then twist to adjust and it is a little tricky to get exactly the right temperature, but once you’ve got it, it is great. After days of camping in our car, I enjoyed a long hot shower without running out of hot water. Room heating took a bit of time to warm up but not too bad and I had to lower it. Despite being fairly close to the road, our room was quiet and we all slept well. WiFi was slow, but for being in kind of the middle of nowhere at a 1 star hotel, it...
Read moreThe hotel is incredibly run down and that is putting it nicely. The rooms were dirty. I found multiple hairs upon my pillow and bed. There were ants and even a centipede that I found in the bathroom. The lock on the door was nothing other than a simple chain that latched the door shut. The TV couldn’t even be operated by remote as I had to find buttons upon the unit to both turn it on/off and change channels. To charge a person $75 dollars to stay here is an absolute travesty. These rooms would warrant nothing more than $15 a night! If you are passing through this town and see this place you are better off to just keep going. To top it off the people living at the end of the hotel are incredibly loud and to call them unsavory would be doing them a favor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE...
Read moreHad the worst experience. My husband was working in the area and stayed at the Budget Inn in Chemult. He returned to his room after work one evening to find it had been ransacked. Odd because the door was locked and there was no forced entry of any kind. They got away with cash he had stashed in his shaving kit & his Danner work boots. He notified management right away, the manager didn't even offer to call the police. The manager's response was "I know nothing about your room getting broken into." Oddly enough after reporting the incident to management his Danner work boots managed to reappear outside his room door. Very peculiar if you ask me... Needless to say we filed a police report with the Klamath County Sheriff's Office. Don't...
