We stayed here outside of race week, so we cannot speak to what it is like during a race. Without a race, the park next door was empty. We mostly had the place to ourselves outside of a handful of weekend campers that came halfway through our 2 week stay. Super tranquil, wonderful nature sounds, and we even saw some deer coming through the back of camp. There is a dog park, playground, pool, bath house, office, and store. Plenty of amenities. There is also a giant field in the back that we took our dogs to run and play in since the park had so few people during our stay - they loved it.
Water pressure measured at 105 PSI, so we opted for our pressure regular. Power was solid the entire time. Sites are gravel and very well maintained, however they are not level. We had to move spots b/c of excessive slope warnings, and at one point, one of our rear slides popped out of it's top track due to our tweaked our frame was trying to level. All of the sites tend to slope from the rear driver towards the front passenger, and we noticed that everyone's front passenger levelers were the most extended/strained. The "rear" road of the premium pull throughs is noticeably higher than the "front" road which contributes to the bulk of the issues. ALL of the landscaping is impeccably maintained and very pretty to look at during our stay. This park does charge pet rent, and I really couldn't tell what you get for it. The provided poop bags were so thin that they would split just from picking up one pile of poop, meaning you now have poop on your hands. We used our own, but noticed they did run out during our stay and were never refilled. The park is also directly under a cell tower, so we had the BEST internet at ANY park we've ever stayed at. We mostly used our T-mobile, but ATT and Verizon were strong as well.
The owners here are on site, and super friendly and accommodating. No issues, and we felt like part of the family during our entire stay. The whole park was decorated for Halloween with inflatables, motion activated statues, and tons of amazing skeletons hanging from signs and other fun goodies to make the experience fun and memorable. You really can see the grand stands from the park, but not in a "camping in the parking lot" kind of way. More in a "wow look how close we are!" way, while still enjoying trees, grass, and nature. The track offers a tour that is well worth the low cost and short amount of time considering it is right next door. Our tour guide even lives in the park! We camped at Grandstand RV Park...
Read moreThe park was easy to find. It is located right across the road from the Talladega Motor Speedway. There is pavement all the way until the entrance road (about ¼ mile of gravel). Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are gravel and in good condition..
Our site, 48, was a gravel based pull thru that was long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30/50 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Distancing is close for a rural park. Each site has a table on a concrete pad and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even side to side but sloped front to rear. Our front wheels were off the ground. Overall the park was clean well groomed .
There is NO park included wifi or cable TV. We did find a number of OTA channels. Satellite will not be difficult. We did not use the washrooms ,showers or laundry but we checked and found them clean and modern. We did not use the pool as it was closed for the season. There are two dog runs and the office sells ice and the basics.
There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be an okay overnighter. We paid $58.50 (inc tax) per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in...

Sites are extremely spacious, enough room to pull through and park without having to unhook or back in and have space for grilling and entertaining!
Super dog friendly! There is plenty of room to walk your furry children and they have dog park that has a shaded bench for those sunny days.
Clean clean clean shower house! INDIVIDUAL shower rooms for ultimate privacy and safety! They also have a laundry room with new washers and dryers! Oh and did I mention they are opening their pool soon??
Very quiet during the racing offseason! A lot of fun when the race comes to town. Park is located right next to the superspeedway . I mean you can throw a rock and hit the entrance gate, that close! The owners always set up local bands to play for the campers. A lot of loyal campers that come every race! Very good vibes during ‘dega! With NO riff raff!
The most beautiful sunsets you’ll see can be found here! In addition, the park is located close to Talladega National Forest which has plenty of hiking and waterfalls
I can’t thank the owners enough for their hospitality and now friendship.
Come here to camp, and I promise you’ll leave with new friends, an appreciation for the small town of Lincoln, and a smile on...
