Talladega Knights RV Park — Hotel in Talladega

Talladega Knights RV Park has become my twice a year home away from home. Julio and Tang and their incredible crew have curated a personal level of connection that is so hard to find. They provide a selection of doughnuts in the mornings while we camp for race week! When we ask what time doughnuts will be out, they ask us when we would like them out! Now that is service!! They shuttle us to and from the tram to the Speedway, which is immensely helpful. The shower houses are REALLY nice, and I love the little touches they've been adding to further elevate the experience. The RV lots are more spacious than other nearby parks, I'm told. The pavilion is perfect the corn hole tournament. Very spacious with picnic tables and room for at least two 27 ft courts, the DJ booth, and space to move around during the game. (Yes, there's a fantastic DJ that takes requests Friday/Saturday nights, and the pavilion has electricity hook ups.) This family friendly park has a laid back yet upstanding atmosphere. They treat all guests and long term residents (there's a few!) with respect and courtesy. If you are looking for a safe and fun place to camp, I don't think you'll find better than Talladega...

Great campground for camping for Talladega Racing Weekends. Campground offers full hook ups, 30 amp and 50 amp services. Campground is family owned and they are onsite for racing weekend. We attended May 2016 race and stayed here for the weekend for the race and was well pleased with campground. Staff was great when arriving and helping us get to our designated spot within the campground. Sites are grass, but clean. There is a lot of partying going on and I was worried about the noise level at night, but quiet hours are strictly enforced. We met some really nice couples that are and have been returning guest here for several years. If I am ever Talladega bound again, I will definitely be booking again. Book early, they fill up fast...

We stayed here Fall 2013 & Spring 2017. They have full hook up. There are about 6 showers, very clean & I was shocked how clean it was since it was muddy red clay outside everywhere. Never run out of warm water. They don't have toilets just porta potties but they are located everywhere. We got some wood delivered by the staff, great people & they started our fire for us since it was wet from the rain. Friday night was the loud partying night but Saturday was pretty mellow. Great staff! They have big golf carts that drop you off near the shuttle. They give you their cell # if you need a ride late at night like when we went to the concert.
