Great place to chill for a day or for a few weeks. I Truly enjoyed doing business with the owners of this establishment. Reservations and check-in were swift and easy ! We received a text and email with our assigned spot (clearly marked) & other information. We stayed there for a quick overnight yesterday. The owners came down (it was after hours, too!) and warmly welcomed us. The next morning, our tow truck wouldn’t start and they both offered their assistance as well as that of their ON-SITE RV service tech! We got it up and running after a while and didn’t need assistance, but we are so appreciative of the hospitality shown to us. Backstory: We attended the June 2021 grand opening celebration and met the owners, Nate & Alicia Lawson. They were very nice and welcoming. We had to leave earlier than planned, and now—several months later—we stayed there again. Kudos to them for crediting us from our earlier stay with no hesitation and ZERO problems. The grounds are looking great (nice pavilion!), the trees are growing beautifully, and the new pool is fabulous and big! I love that this place is not a huge place. We will definitely be back!

PROS: near Talladega Race Track and freeway close; big Class A accessible; clean restroom & showers; kind gal who either manages or owns the park; large pool with lots of concrete to enjoy lounging; nice playground for kids with lots of grassy area and I believe a pavilion for gatherings; definitely potential but needs some work! The noise level was quiet but again it was a workday when we stayed. CONS: no shade trees on the sites; only one hook in shower stall for hanging clothes, towels or shower caddy’s; no counters around sink areas; no seats or chairs inside shower stalls, seems like lots of full-time or part-time residents; @ the time of our stay in August 2024 there was no electricity in the bathroom, in the me s bathroom the paper towel holders didn’t work so couldn’t be used to dry hands; Laundry cost $3 for washing and $3 for drying and no quarters could be given only through an app; We only stayed as a stop over and wouldn’t stay any longer for many of the cons. Not for us, but others may enjoy it.

The birth of a wonderful vision. I am a founding member that camped for the first time this weekend. I was thoroughly impressed by the space and how Nate & Alicia are developing the area. I was greeted enthusiastically upon entry and then chauffeured to my lot and then greeted by rv repairman in case I have any issues. I have a custom Class B with a Weeroll Classic in tow for my extra storage or 2nd sleeping area for my grandson. I enjoyed meeting other campers and letting them see my set-up as well. Although I left early, my grandson and I really enjoyed the time away and was able to bond more as Nanna with a grown grandson. It brought back memories as we talked, laughed and shared thoughts and dreams. I will definitely be back to enjoy seeing the growth as they continue to develop their dream and assist in the camping dream of others. Faith R Thompson

We stayed for a month and due to work travel we decided to stay an additional month. The host is very kind, and helpful, the sites are gravel and some are close together. However, we're here in off-race time and have plenty of space to ourselves. The atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable which made it easy for us to stay longer. Walmart and other stores and restaurants are within 15-20 mins and a Piggly Wiggly just a few miles away. The dog park is very convenient, my family enjoys playing at the playground and basketball court, we love to swim but being that we're here Oct-Nov it's been too cold to swim. We have stayed at other parks where the kids have been looked down upon but they've been nothing but welcoming which I greatly appreciate. The showers are clean and the grounds are being maintained. It is clear that the park is still undergoing upgrades but is still very comfortable. When we arrived the laundry facility was not set up but the host gave us a recommendation for a laundromat and not the facilities are up and running, there are 2 washers/dryers. It is also set up for use with PayRange which is very convenient. Overall we're very pleased and would...
