While the hotel had several positive aspects, a disappointing check-in experience overshadowed them.
On the positive side, the hotel's location is convenient and easily accessible. Ample parking space was available, which is always a relief for travelers with their own vehicles. The room itself was clean and spacious, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The variety of breakfast options offered a great start to the day, and the flexibility of a noon checkout time was especially convenient for those planning cruise check-ins.
However, the check-in process left much to be desired. The front desk staff's lack of a warm welcome was noticeable (No Hi-s, No How are You-s, No Smiles). Instead of a friendly greeting, we were promptly asked for our credit card and given our room keys. No information was provided about the hotel's facilities, directions to various areas within the hotel, or details on how to access the Wi-Fi. At the end the staff did not even ask whether we have any more questions or not. It was horrible to see that she did not even respond when I told 'Thank You' after getting the Key. This lack of engagement made us feel unwelcome, and it was an unfortunate start to our stay.
What was equally disappointing was that another family traveling with us, although on a separate booking, had a similar experience during their check-in process. They arrived just 15-30 minutes before us and attempted to request nearby rooms or rooms on the same floor. However, the check-in staff remained rigid and did not offer any explanation for their refusal. This lack of flexibility and communication resulted in a negative check-in experience for them as well.
While it is not certain if our experiences were influenced by any form of discrimination, the overall check-in process was far from ideal and marred what could have otherwise been a pleasant stay.
In summary, Hyatt Place offers several positive aspects such as a convenient location, ample parking, clean and spacious rooms, and a variety of breakfast options. However, the check-in experience left a lot to be desired due to unengaged and unhelpful staff (who checked us in). It is my hope that the hotel management takes these concerns seriously and works toward providing a more welcoming and informative check-in process...
Read moreI recently stayed at Hyatt Place Titusville with a middle school group on an academic education tour around Orlando, and our experience was excellent.
From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring our group had everything we needed. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—situated just across the Indian River Lagoon from NASA Kennedy Space Center, making it the perfect place to stay if you’re planning to visit KSC or catch a rocket launch.
One of the hotel’s standout features is the launch viewing area on the 5th floor—a rare and unique perk for any hotel. We were fortunate to stay from March 14th-16th and had the incredible opportunity to watch the Falcon 9 launch on the evening of the 14th from this dedicated space.
We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant on the 14th, and I was pleasantly surprised by both the variety and pricing—especially for a hotel restaurant. The food was great, and I highly recommend trying the fried pickles with chipotle sauce—an absolute must!
On March 15th, the hotel experienced technical issues with the key system, preventing guests from accessing their rooms. While this could have been a major inconvenience, the hotel staff handled it exceptionally well. They quickly organized a plan with security and other team members to escort guests to their rooms, keeping everything organized and efficient. What truly stood out was their attentiveness to the situation—they took note of guest rooms, proactively made new keys, and personally tracked down guests once the system was restored.
Overall, Hyatt Place Titusville exceeded expectations in both value and service. I would absolutely feel comfortable bringing a group here again and look forward to staying...

At the lobby to check in at 315pm just after checkin time, all looked nice and updated. Front desk said our room was not ready and was going through finally inspection. Sounds thorough at least right? IMO it should have been ready at stated online checkin time. 20 mins later the front desk called us up to get our room key. Walked into our room which again first impression was nice and updated until you take a longer and closer look. Bathroom cleanliness was horrible. Toilet seat had dried butt juice and other nastiness on it from previously occupant and you could see there was an attempt to clean…. But very quickly and obviously not thoroughly. Shower needs cleaning as there is mold growing in crevices and corners. Shower takes literally 5 mins to heat up to warm/hot. Terrible water pressure as well. Room walls really need to be painted as scuff marks are all over. Hopefully the sheets were clean. We did find 2 dark curly hairs on the inside of the covers. Staff and front desk were pleasant but lacking in quality control as should be expected from a Hyatt. Location is convenient to cruise terminal. Restaurants are a quick drive. Nice black out shades if you’re trying to sleep in. Continental breakfast was what you would expect for a free breakfast. Hot and fresh. Really not one to leave a bad review but I wish I would have read more reviews on this Hyatt Place Titusville. Cleaning and maintenance are the big issues and needs to be...
