My family and I spent the weekend at Jellystone Park and had a good time. The place is geared towards the little ones so keep that in mind when booking and during your stay. The campground is very well maintained and super clean. I did not see any litter or garbage laying around during our stay. This is pretty impressive given the size of the campground. I have to give kuddos to the staff given they were always busy driving around in their golf carts maintaining and keeping the place super clean. Jellystone Park has several pools, a lazy river, water park, mini-golf, soccer fields, multiple play grounds, two huge bounce areas, horse shoes, fishing area, arcade, craft area, hey hey hayride, and plenty of other fun activities to keep the kids occupied. You can just relax or keep yourself as busy as you would like during your stay. They also have a decent general store to buy the basics and purchase firewood for your campfire. They have various scheduled activities but they need a little improvement on that front. It appears they are disorganized when it comes to actually showing up to host them. We had gone to several activities listed on their daily activity sheet (you recive this at check-in) but there was nobody there. When we asked staff in the area what was going on with the activity they had no idea. They were very nice about it but would be better if they were aware of scheduled activities and times and could give direction about stuff. The cabin we stayed at was very nice but did not have any trees or shade to keep you out of the sun during the heat of the day. They have a screened in porch but who wants to be inside when it is nice outside. Our friends and I had originally reserved our cabins online and when we got there my family was assigned a different cabin / spot. We were told that in order to guarantee your actual cabin you would have had to pay extra. I think this kind of defeats the purpose of picking your cabin online in the first place. We were in the same general area but not a good way to start off. They have golf carts available to rent which I would highly recommend. You can explore a lot more of the grounds and it is pretty fun. Also, there is no parking available in some areas especially near the pool so be prepared to walk if you don't opt to rent one. There are several big hills on site so if traveling with older family members just be aware of it. My son loved the golf cart experience and enjoyed taking rides whenever possible. They are designed to go around 5 mph which was super relaxing and smart given all the kids in the campground. The have a pretty cool water park with water slides and various water cannon and fountains. The water park was open only one day (Friday) while we were there and was closed on Saturday given they had a problem with the filter. The pool and lazy river remained open but our son was super disappointed that it was closed. This place is expensive to stay at so they should have a back up plan in place just in case this happens. It would not be a bad idea to have all necessary spare parts on site for situations like this. We reserved story time with Yogi and they came to our cabin and read 3 books for our kids which was really nice. Yogi doesn't actually read the books but the staff that he came with did an awesome job. Thumbs up to the group! If you are tent camping at Jellystone be aware that the sites are very close together and super crowded. As an avid camper I would have been disappointed if we chose to camp here versus staying in a cabin. I think the tent site are suited to groups versus someone looking for some quiet time and privacy. Overall, we had a good time and made the best of some of the minor inconveniences that came up during our stay. I would have given Jellystone a higher rating but will all the little things that came up it took away from the experience. My son loved it so that is what matters most. I am sure he would have given Jellystone 5 stars but as a paying parent I expected more from them.

An honest review… even tho I don’t like to sound negative, I just want future parents to be aware. The cabin was VERY expensive 1500 For the three nights after the discount offer on their page. Any method of staying there is pricey. I thought this included everything but it doesn’t. We paid for laser tag, 20/each for tie dye, etc. The pool was FREEZING!!!!! The kids were shivering within a minute. The water slides were dangerous, they hurt myself besides they have indents going down the whole slide. i saw several kids crying after going down. One night an ambulance arrived for a child who was injured on the slide. None of the staff were supervising the slides, which resulted in Chaos and I overheard angry parents complaining… staff didn’t care about their concerns. Be ready to not find a spot at the pool to sit… I weekday and all tables accounted for … Wood is 10/bundle fyi - it’s nice they deliver it to your campsite tho About the camp we stayed in … it was FILTHY… the bathroom had the worst stench of urine. I bought deep cleaner and put a Clorox tablet in the toilet and that didn’t even help one bit. The dishes were not clean, but put in the cabinets. The floors were the most disgusting filthy floors ever. If you decide to go take a wipe and see the filth that comes off with one swipe. The beds were covered in dirt (you bring your own sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, dish soap)… the garbage can was sooo gross and clearly never cleaned. Cob webs covered the screens in porch. We had a super cute beaver that lived underneath our camp, which was adorable to watch, but just be aware it wakes you up bright and early scratching underneath lol. The experience for the kids was nice but as the adult it was jampacked mid week and the jumping pillows had so many kids it gave us all anxiety … Of course, many tears happened throughout our stay from our kids and other kids from bumping or falling off. The movie and the Meadow was wonderful. Laser tag was so much fun, but I was disappointed how much they charge for it. The kids running it were sweet and funny. The first night they only gave us 2 games but apparently you’re supposed to get 3. So you got ripped off there. The playgrounds were ok. Do not expect to lounge in the brown river although they show it on their website… it’s not very appeasing. Snapping turtles and snakes are along the edge too. Lastly, the pools are so split up you’ll Be back and forth chasing the kids … the lazy river was a blast but again SOOOOOO miserably cold… but you can’t see from the water slide area and each pool was separate so be prepared to hop back and forth chasing the kiddos. Be prepared to wait in line for the lazy river also. The bees were swarming … one of the 5 kids got stung and one adult got stung I’d go back on a less busy day that was cheaper, but only for my kids sake… if he asked. I was expecting something different and was so excited to try it out. It’s overcrowded, not cleanly, and expensive. The idea is amazing tho and amenities are great, just not enough space and needs more experienced staff.

Was disappointed in the way its declined lately. Ever since corporate has taken over, they have jacked the prices up, taken away events, and been short staffed. We have been going to this Campground for 10+ years now. Father's day, they had limited events. No fishing tournament like in previous years. They shut the pool, and Water park down on FATHER'S DAY early afternoon, throwing out a whole lot of very unhappy people. A staffer yelled, in public, at a kind store cashier, who was trying to help out all the people who were in line to shut the store down immediately, even when there was a line of people waiting to buy supplies. Basically throwing people out of the store. So absolutely unprofessional, I felt so bad for the poor cashier, being humiliated, and berated like that. Hay ride was nothing more than a tractor pulling people around, while the staff teenagers chatted with each other and did not interact with campers at all. The events that were actually meant to be fun, are extremely disorganized, and staff do not seem to know how to handle them. it ends up with times wrong, locations wrong, etc.... It reminds me of a summer camp, being run by kids, that have no idea what they are doing. Place is turning into nothing but a cash cow. It's not at all, as good. And as fun as it used to be. They need to seriously consider some rethinking of the camping experience, as this place is definitely sliding downhill as money is more important to them, than a reputation. *UPDATE: Tried to give this place one more chance, and not only has it not changed, it has gotten worse! We were there for fathers day weekend 2024... The potable water was BROWN. There was no way we were drinking it. hopefully it did not damage our RV plumbing. The bathrooms at the field by the river were so disgusting, we would not go in there more than the initial first time. The main door was also broken. There was garbage all over the place. Never cleaned up. The sites had garbage everywhere....even in the riverbanks!!! Staff were all complaining how little they were making, and it definitely showed. EVERYTHING is basically charged, now. Candy Bar Bingo was 8 dollars for 4 cards, and only played 4 games...I don't really care about the small amount, but that's definitely not the point. The arcade doesn't take cash, you have to buy a $5 card, and you only get to play two games! Quiet time is a joke, we had people on the left and right from NYC, that would not shut up. They were up until 1am!! Ownership needs to step in and take a serious overhaul of this place...its really bad now. The worst campground of all. I took a couple of pictures, but they don't do justice, as the place was way worse as time progressed. It USED to be a really nice place.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon!| |sharon|Local Guide·9 reviews·5 photos|12 hours ago|New|Vacation | Family|My experience with this jellystone park was not very good I booked my stay for my family I booked the Cindy bear house originally which would have accommodated my family well unfortunately I had a family emergency with my mom and could not make that weekend I emailed them to see what they can do for me I have to admit I have stayed at a yogi bear every year for 7 years now and this location was the worst one by far the only accommodation they could give me was for another house which was extremely smaller than what I paid for due to the fact that the weekend was different and the house that I originally paid for was double the amount. I had no choice but to take that location or was going to lose $1,300. When I arrived there the actual house was way smaller than shown on the internet and would not have been safe for my autistic granddaughter to stay in the only other thing that they were able to offer me was another house that was bigger however was an upcharge so now instead of spending the original 1300 I was charged another $400 so I spent a total of $1,700 for 2 days and to top it all off the one reason why we chose this location was because of the lazy river that was one of the main amenities of the park was closed due to maintenance. I had reached out to several people regarding this issue and unfortunately nobody reached back out to me to try to help me with anything in this whole process I would not recommend this location due to poor communication and lack of accommodation in situations beyond control. I have visited many other Yogi Bears so that doesn't mean that they're all bad however this particular one was not worth what I spent to try and give my grandchildren a...

Security needs better training and need to understand their rules if they are planning to enforce them and they should all be on the same page! Let me start by saying we will never return. These kids were 9, 11, 12, 13-year-old kids, not teenagers causing mischief, they wanted to play game called man hunt ( which is similar to flashlight tag). All of us parents were up sitting at the camp fire and very aware our children were out playing. They were told to be quiet and stay together. At first, they were playing in the field and got told they were being too loud for tent sites (understandable because nothing blocks out the sound in a tent) so they went down where the dog park is, no one around, no tents, no campers, no people to complain. Again, kids just trying to be kids! I understand you have seasonal guests but you also have families and kids on vacations trying to enjoy their vacations, even in a hotel or at the beach people are out until all hours of the night. It was right around 10:30pm when this situation happened but we were told if they were quiet they could play around. It was no later than this because we gave them a time of 11pm to be back at our campsites. ||      Which brings me to this point before getting back to the kids, my mother and I were riding our bikes that are electric and have lights on front and on back and were stopped by security in not a nice way and told we were being disrespectful because they were behind us telling us to stop and head back to our campsite - this being 8:20 PM ( yes a little dark out but our bikes are no different than a golf cart being they are electric) when first off I did not hear someone talking to me on a golf cart (because this could be anyone) and secondly they are behind me. When I stopped at the stop sign I turned around to ask them what they said, and they said "that I was disrespecting them by not answering them and that I needed to park my bike at my campsites, that no bikes were permitted after dark" Which I proceeded to tell them that is exactly where I was heading and that I did answer them however I could not hear what they were saying and went to leave. When I then was asked to "not have an attitude?" - Frankly an attitude adjustment was needed from the person on that golf cart because I am a grown woman and not a child - However after leaving I then heard the person on the golf cart say "what the f**k is the attitude for I'm doing my job?" - Well Sir, you are clearly not equipped to handle your job when you talk to people like that. ||      Second issue with security, the 2nd to last night there, a group of ladies (not children/kids) were on the rented golf cart - and joined in on golf cart parade- having fun, playing music, dancing, laughing, stopping at campsites talking to people. They continued on driving around till about 9:30 at night - when they were stopped not once but 3x by security and told they were being disruptive to others- this was before the night curfew as well, so not for nothing but stopping them before "curfew" is ineffective is also ridiculous. They were having fun- people they talked to were joining in- other golf carts riding around. Yes, they had music but AGAIN TRYING TO ENJOY THEIR VACATION before curfew hours. ||      Lastly, OUR KIDS, back to this- our last night there- again the kids are over by the dog park- not bothering anyone. Security proceeded to tell them "Come out with their hands up" - ( like what did they think these young kids had). Dont wear anything or identifing themselves as security. Proceeded to detain them at the front gates and threatened them with calling the state police, before calling one person in our group- gave my children anxiety attack where they were uncontrollably crying for over 45minutes almost to the point of throwing up. Detained them like they were criminals- how about follow them back to their campsite and have a conversation with their parents, or better yet since they were not bothering anyone that you LET THEM BE KIDS! ||      The men and some woman in our group most of them are police officers, state police, work for the District Attorney's office, or own their own businesses, all of our children grow up respecting authority figures. Do I believe our children are always angels- no sir I do not! I am not the type of parent that think our children do no wrong- however this situation! Our kids were doing just that being kids- with a group of friends they don't see every day- on a group trip that we do once a month with 7 different campers. Which none of us will ever be staying at your campground again, there are definitely some reviews out there as well so others know how extremely poor security judgements were made.||      I hope you understand our position on this and I hope that it helps you train and do better in the future for other patrons of...

I am sure he would have given Jellystone 5 stars but as a paying parent I expected...
