Donna and Sonic have guided me safely from newly A-licensed to now (200 jumps), and I’ll continue to rely on them as my skydiving career develops. Not only have they helped me buy gear that suits my skill level and facilitates solid progression, but they also give top tier advice for freefall and canopy piloting. After my first “downplane” on opening at 50 jumps, I went straight to them to ask how I could prevent this from happening again. I myself don’t do anything crazy under canopy, but I know Sonic is also an epic swooper and helps skydivers safely navigate that discipline. Donna and Sonic have been in the game for a long time, they’ve been instrumental in developing the sport… best of all they are super friendly and willing to help novices find a heading and maintain it 🪂

Other than that… they have really good industry relationships and I can find almost any piece of equipment, options etc. through them.

RIGGING: I recently went to a new DZ on the west coast with my brand new Infinity rig that Sonic put together. During my gear inspection, the master rigger there (who does not know Sonic) commented that “whoever assembled your rig did an awesome job.” And then listed all ways...

I've been in this game for over 30 years. If there's one thing I've learned it's that we only survive and enjoy our sport because of the selfless dedicated people who teach and guide us. The ones who place skydiving and skydivers above just about everything else, themselves included. And that's what you get when you stop in the PRO shop or work with them on line. Kamuran is the personification of passionate dedication. He knows that keeping skydivers safe is what keeps us all skydiving. His years of expertise, knowledge, wisdom, insight and attention are some of the tools he employs to keep it that way. I know he wants you to 'buy, baby, buy' but he's even more enthused about sharing his knowledge with us all. Even if you don't buy anything (I never said that), always be sure to get him involved in your conversations. You walk away the winner...

I have bought plenty of gear from sonic and Donna new and used. There has been hiccups with the used gear with a used canopy getting a small tear after a few uses. But sonic took the time to make things right. Although I was upset in the moment and reacted in an unprofessional manner Sonic stayed professional the entire time. He truly cares about the community and takes the time to make sure you know what your getting. If he thinks you are making a gear decision that doesn’t fit your needs he will take the time to explain why it’s not the best decision. The team at the ranch pro shop makes it there first priority to make sure the gear you get is the gear that will work best for you.
